I stayed at the old Block, which has not been renovated, calm, good view on the pool, etc, I would have preferred the new wing, but always fine,

Pros (+) Loved everything
Pros (+) Close to airport
Cons (-) Cleaner facilities and a fresh smell. Could offer regular shuttles to all terminals instead of just to one and three
Pros (+) This is a nice hotel near the airport. I have stayed here before several years ago and tehy remembered me. I is getting a little worn, but for the price, very good for a stopover in Dubai. It is close to a Metro station GGICO especially if you use the secret rear entrance gate by the delivery entrance. It also has a convenient free airport shuttle.
Cons (-) Nicer toiletries - soap and shampoo. Razor pack was very dull.
