Quiet location. Clean & tidy room. Nice restaurant to breakfast in the following morning. Lack of carparking at the actual hotel made it slightly difficult for me to transport my gear to and from hotel, and also left me slightly worried about leaving my car parked on side street in unfamiliar area.

most things and the bar and coffee area was very peaceful and relaxing and cosy in the morning not worth commenting because it was not adverse just things in the room & bathroom need to be upgraded and better air flow in warmer weather

Heritage facade on building and walking distance to centre of town. Staff were helpful and well informed. Room was cramped, very warm, no air conditioner and the fan provided did not work. No view at all. Location was great but very disappointed with our room there.

The beds were comfortable, The hotel was reasonably close to the city centre. costlly valet parking, staff unprofessional, room very small, no wardrobe, only a small fan in room, no view, small window opened to fire escape, with exit sign above window. For an advertised four star hotel the reception area was small and uninviting. We paid $144 NZ for the night and represented very poor value compared with all the other hotels we stayed in during three weeks in New...
