Westmark Fairbanks Hotel & Conference Center8.2/10 ratingout of 24 reviews · $156 avg price/ night
This is a lovely four-star hotel in the middle of Fairbanks. The bed was super comfortable, nice fluffy towels, large room and a really wonderful breakfast and during Covid times that’s not an item you’re seeing as much so it was a highlight to see a breakfast with hot items offered. We really like this hotel and it will be our Fairbanks place to stay in the future, everyone was great. The only negative was the housekeeping department just opening our door without a knock or announcement, I was brushing my teeth and I heard the door open and then close and when I went to the door and opened it up housekeeping staff was standing there. That’s not OK and it was the only negative but it won’t distract from the 10 I’m giving this hotel, housekeeping just needs to do better by not walking into someone’s room without a knock or announcement, jeez.

Great Resort to enjoy this North Alaskan City. Pros: Peaceful and quiet layout with rooms arranged on cottages along a river walk. Good breakfast facility. Great Restaurant on premises. Comfortable shuttle service to airport, rail depot and some recreational facilities. Cons: No provision for lunch or any food service other than breakfast and dinner. Room furniture are bare minimum. No closed closet to keep clothes on, only an open rod to hang from, encroaching on bed.
