Pros (+) Beautiful view of Mississippi River. Very short walking distance to downtown attractions.
Cons (-) The telephone did not work when we arrived. The hot tub was cold and the aerator was undersized for the size of the hot . Only half of the jets working and the other half had less air coming out of them than my aquarium at my house. The rooms were musty. My young kids and I travel often and this was low on the accomidation scale.
Pros (+) The room was very clean with comfortable bed and soft pillows. Breakfast was good.
Pros (+) Overall, our short stay here was a pleasant experience. The hotel and rooms are very well kept and the courtyard pool was great for the kiddo. The breakfast buffet was a definite bonus with quite a large selection to please everyone.
Cons (-) The front desk attendants during our check-in were less than friendly. Felt like I was putting them out just for asking a few questions. The evening staff were far more accommodating.
Pros (+) Very friendly staff. Good location for visiting Mark Twain stuff.
Cons (-) pool was extremely crowded in evenings. not enough towels at pool. Rooms are fine, but one room we stayed in had faulty tub.
