Summary of reviews

Guests say
The majority of guests expressed strong dissatisfaction with their stay, citing severe cleanliness issues such as dirty rooms, stained linens, cockroaches, and unpleasant odors. Safety was a major concern, with reports of broken locks, missing fire alarms, attempted break-ins, and police presence. Service also received negative feedback, with complaints about unhelpful staff, overbooking, and poor management. Breakfast was frequently mentioned as unsatisfactory or unavailable. Only a few reviews noted positive experiences, such as friendly front desk staff or a clean room, but these were exceptions.

Unsafe, Unsanitary, and Unacceptable I booked a "Deluxe" room but found a nightmare. There was NO fire alarm in the room (huge safety risk), the bed was broken/collapsed, and there was old food under the beds. We were 4 people but only given ONE towel. The front desk was unhelpful and claimed they couldn't get more supplies. The door was wide open when we arrived. Absolutely revolting and unsafe. ...

Pros (+) When I found a new hotel to stay at
Cons (-) Everything. The building was old and run down. The rooms were small, stinky, and clearly had structural issues. There’s clearly people who stay there long term. At night it was so noisy I didn’t get a wink of sleep. At times I didn’t feel safe. The next day I searched for a different hotel to stay in which was not easy because a lot of them were booked or didn’t except pets. If I had not found a n...

Pros (+) The location was good for us.
Cons (-) The room smelled like cigarette smoke, the other couple we were with complained to housekeeping about this they said they would spray the room but never came back. The telephones in both our rooms did not work, some outlets did not work. Walked barefoot after my shower, big mistake! My feet were black, filthy in just a few minutes walking on the carpet in the room. And the lighting in the room was...

Pros (+) Not a good hotel
Cons (-) Room reeked of cigarettes. When I complained I was told they could come spray my room with some deodorizer. I was not offered another room. Bad experience all around. Oh and there was a sewing needle in the carpet with some drug residue from a past tenant.

Pros (+) Location was close to the Expo center. They do have a full breakfast, when it's stocked.
Cons (-) Pool is outdoor! Our key card only worked 1/2 the time, even after being reprogrammed. They actually gave us the master key to use once, and it still took 4-5 tries to get that to work. Fitness center equipment was 15-20 yrs old. Shower didn't work right and was missing the stopper part of the drain. They had no pillows for our son who was staying on the sofa bed. Overall I expected way more for t...

Pros (+) Good all around value for the seriously budget minded. Noisy guests made it hard to sleep. Management unable to find solution.
