Outdated but not bad
We had a good view of the city and the beds were comfortable
The heating system would come on every 40 minutes or so and would be really loud for a few minutes and then turn off. The sheets on at least one of the beds were clearly not changed as there was small wrappers tucked in between the comforter and sheets. The most annoying thing though was booking through kayak we were comparing prices and Getaroom was the cheapest option at $44 and they said you paid $0 at the hotel. There were other options that came to $53 with a $20 resort fee included but we thought maybe Getaroom had a special deal worked out where you didn’t have to pay the resort fee. Well we got there and they tacked on the resort fee so it was $10 more than what we could’ve paid. That was frustrating
Water smelled like sewage
The hotel it’s self was not terrible, nice style, cool location.
The staff was rude and unhelpful except for like 2 people, the water smelled horrible, tv was broken, they told us the hotel was sold out and we couldn’t check in early but when we complained (after completely unpacking) offered to move us to a different room.... and when we said we didn’t want to move because we were unpacked they were completely unwilling to explore any other options. Still don’t know how they were going to relocate in a sold out hotel....
Windows so dirty I could not see out of them
The lady at the roulette table
Pool was shaded ,no balcony
The hotel smells and it’s too old. I got charged too much for resort fees which was not mentioned on the notice. It was not worth the money.
The noisy air con
Quiet room. good staff. clean place. would stay again
in a bit of a shady area of town.....a bit noisy outside so bring ear plugs or white noise app
Clean, Confort and Budget Friendly.
Everything especially the Sports Book. The main reason i keep coming back to the Plaza is that you are 1 of 2 hotels left in Downtown LV that does not require a $100 security deposit for rooms. PLEASE.. PLEASE i urge you NOT to change that!! $50 is more than enough.
Better choices for 24hr food besides McDonald's and Subway.
Good stay for the price
It was away from the hustle and bustle of the strip
- Not enough lighting in room. - Water kept building up in the tub. - No fridge - Parking system with attendant needs to be changed. Waited in a long line of cars to simply show my key card to park in the structure. - Confirmation number through Kayak did not register at the check-in/check-out kiosk. Had to wait in line.
Car pick up
I liked the how friendly the staff were. The valet worked out awesome for me as I flew there to pick up my new 'stang. Every time we called the front desk everyone was incredibly friendly and nice. I wish there was a mini fridge in the room. I figured that was standard nowadays but apparently not. I would definitely stay there again. First time staying in that section of Vegas. I loved how tall the bathroom counters were. For me it was the perfect height.
No fridge in room was our major downside. One outlet by window did not work and there was limited bathroom counter space.
The staff was courteous, the hotel is conveniently located. The room was clean. Housekeeping didn't bother us at all. When we had an issue the front desk was wonderful about addressing it. The casino was one of the less hectic ones, lots of food and convenience options around. Glad that they actually had a first aid kit and sewing kit available in their store.
There were two outlets in the room and one of them didn't work at all, the one by the desk. There was also a problem with the boiler that caused the hot water to be effected on our first day there, we couldn't shower until after noon. The beds are below average in comfort and will leave you stiff. Probably bring extra padding if you have back problems.
