Pros: Very friendly staff at front of house in bar area and restaurant. They made the stay feel very relaxed.

Pros: Fantastic stay at Chalet Mounier. The staff were exceptional and made our stay that little bit better. This hotel is firmly ran with the guest in mind and that shows through without exception.

Cons: I could not find fault save for only staying 4 nights!

Pros: Comfortable bed. Good location at bottom of mountain slopes. Private parking for guests.

Pros: clean and freshly renovated room; the lack of breakfast is no big deal since there is a great Patisserie across the streed with strong coffee and any bakery you ever want ;) the Location is great - just start hiking when leaving the Hotel - so we had a day without touching the motocylce ;)

Pros: Basic accommodation, but quiet and in a good location near Diable ski-lift.

Pros: The apartment was in a nice area of the town and supermarket and restaurants nearby however I was here in low season so most stores were closed (elevators too but I was here to hike so no problem). In the apartment all (cooking) equipment available and bed was good. Nice bathroom and a nice garden with seating. WiFi worked well.

Cons: Toilet was really small but this was the only negative.

Pros: Very cute peaceful cosy hotel. Good location for ski hire, ski pass, mountains (5min walk to Diable), supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Very good value for price. Simple no frills, clean and warm, basic breakfast with good filter coffee

Cons: No complaints, perhaps add some cereal to breakfast buffet, but really was fine as it is

Pros: The location was very nice and warm. It was very nice decorated with a lot of beautiful objects and accesories. The owner was nice and treated us very well. The room was very clean and cosy. Restaurants and shops close by and the chair lift was relatively close as well.

Cons: Had a bad experience when checking out. We planned initially to check out early in the morning and skip breakfast but we were too tired to do so and decided to leave around 10am. When we went to get a quick breakfast, an older lady, probably the owner's mother, didn't let us have breakfast nor a cup of coffee because it was reserved for other guests. That happened although coffee was more than enough for 10 guests and we had the right to get breakfast that day. The breakfast overall was ok but it was the same every morning and didn't had a lot of options. The room was quite small and the pillows weren't very confortable.

Pros: Well located for access to ski-lifts and runs and to facilities in the town.

Cons: Elevator was out of order for half our stay. Quite an inconvenience, especially with our luggage after checking in. Owner not as friendly with non-French guests compared to the French guests.

Pros: Excellent location and truly Ski 2 door. Breakfast was good and rooms clean and comfy. The small jacuzzi which you can book for 20' sessions was a nice extra bonus. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Pros: We did liked the facilities there where closer to us... Easy to access the town centre skipass and grocery shops

Pros: The hotel has everything for an excellent stay: comfortable rooms, delicious food, awesome, warm swimming pool (it was at 33 degrees during our entire stay), breathtaking view, perfect location. I was traveling with a baby and a young child and the staff made our stay very comfortable. A special "thank you" to the friendly cleaning ladies who made our room spotless every day and to the owner who made our last day extremely comfortable for us. We will be back!

Pros: Amazing food for breakfast and dinner -- great wine list. Great care letting us know how to find good hikes in the area. A wonderful view and sound of rushing river from our bedroom.

Pros: Staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel was perfectly located to all the facilities. Ski pass could be bought at the hotel.

Cons: The noise, being close to the town meant we could hear people returning their night out. However, I suspect this would be the case for any hotel in Les Deux Alpes.

Pros: The lady who owned the hotel was very helpful and informative. All the staff made me very welcome.

Pros: Great breakfast! Really enjoyed it. Supper menus were good and food excellent although the restaurant service could be a little strained at times.

Pros: Great location. Excellent food, particularly the valentines special event. Lovely furnishings and good attention to detail. Really comfy lounge with a very warm open fire. Staff very helpful and professional.

Cons: Breakfast good but not as well staffed as other times of the day so delays in filling up juices and coffee.

Pros: Charming hotel in a beautiful location. Hosts couldn’t do enough for us. Very clean and beds very comfortable.

Pros: The hotel more than exceeded our expectations. The extravagant dinners were fantastic and made for for a perfect ski holiday. I wish we had had a chance to enjoy the pool, but we were not able to pull the kids away from the slopes.

Cons: There was very little we didn't like, except the bathrooms which were very small with barely enough room to use the toilets. We were fortunate though that the communal toilets were next to our room (21) and virtually unused by anyone else

Pros: Very cool property. Nicely redone inside. Excellent friendly staff. Great location near everything.

Pros: L'Alba is at the entrance to the town and right next to the bus stop. Also adjacent to one of the key lifts for Vallee Blanche so a good way to start/end skiing. Ski lockers were clean, spacious and included boot driers. We booked 2 bedroom but got a 3 bedroom unit. Very comfortable and well appointed accommodation. Also full kitchen facilties. The best accommodation we've had in the last 6 years!

Cons: Its next to the slopes but not exactly ski in/out. Still, one of the best on the Vallee Blanche side of the resort. The best skiing (and glacier) if the other side and they are easy to ski between.

Pros: Traffic conditions meant that we were going to be late arriving at the residence. We were phoned by the receptionist who told us she would be there for an extra 2 hours and given details of how to collect them if we missed the extended opening times.

Pros: Lucy was very friendly and spoke excellent English.

Cons: Wifi could have been free for the chalet price, and also easier to set up and work out costs. (9 of us required WiFi!)

Pros: Habitation was good.

Cons: The office is kilometers away and absolutely no way to contact in case of emergency. When arriving the room was out of electricity and it took hours to find the fuse box. We tried to contact the office but it was out of office hours and they don't have emergency contact.

Pros: Out of season so the town was very quiet but we enjoyed our stay never the less. Lovely hotel with great seating area beside reception.

Cons: Music very loud from Umbrella bar in to room 4-7:30pm. But only a problem if you’re not in the bar! Advice would be if you can’t beat them join them.

Pros: Close to slopes, very comfortable, likeable staff, nice spa facilities when weather wasn’t good.

Cons: First of all I think the hotel is too expensive for what is offering, I think they set the prices because of very good location, but it is not enough for such an expensive room. 1. In the room there is no tea of coffee maker, very strange for a hotel in the mountains, I have stayed even in much cheaper hotels and they provided tea in the room, one night I felt bad because I took cold so we went to reception to buy a tea and no one was there, it is true it was around 1 am and I do not expect people being at the reception with the tea, but will be much better if I could have done my tea in the room- so maybe hotel people can think about this, one kettle per room I do not think is so big deal 2. The bed sheets are already too used, clean, but old, also they provide blankets which I did not feel were too clean and did not feel conformable to sleep, room was clean and towels too, but bed was not nice 3. Hotel does not provided glasses or cups in the room, no tea no cup, no water no glass, kind of this attitude, I think. We have bought from Carrefour two glasses and used them and let them in the room, so at least in one room now there are glasses to drink water or other drinks you buy from store 4. In the spa is very nice, but not organized, when you enter they provide towels, we have been there for 4 times no one was at the entrance to give us towels, one evening we waited for 30 min for someone to come and we asked for two towels, they offered one, so why not to put the towels and the entrance and people will just take and will be much more comfortable and no need to wait to ask someone, we understand girls there were also busy with massage and so on 5. Also in the SPA there was free tea and water, but had a feeling no one was happy if it was done and no one was in a hurry to bring new tea or water 6.

Pros: It was fairly quiet.

Cons: The food was pretty awful, yet fairly plentiful. I don't think I've experienced a tougher steak. Top tip would be to bring any food up with you or to eat elsewhere. It's very remote, so prepare!

Pros: Spa was lovely, rooms cosy but small. Staff really friendly and exceptionally helpful. Views from mountain view room were lovely and ski in location perfect. Would certainly visit again!

Cons: Restaurant closes early every night and there is no tea/coffee making facilties in room, these were €7 a time at bar very inconvenient when you vacant for early flight as breakfast/bar area is locked till 7. Boot store/room heaters never worked throughout our stay and has one seat making for very difficult booting up.

Pros: Great breakfast. Excellent location right in the center of town and very close to the cable car up to the glacier. Staff extremely friendly and helpful - the friendliest of all the hotels we stayed at in our 3 week trip around Europe. The most spacious room too!! Small issue and girl on reception was very friendly and sympathetic. Would have liked a fridge and kettle in room however this was compensated in that the bar staff were extremely helpful and went over and above for example giving us ice for drinks in our room, hot water to make tea/coffee in our room and even opening our wine for us and providing glasses so we could enjoy a drink on our balcony which we loved! Would definitely stay again. Special mention to the young girl on reception with excellent English who brightened our days with her lovely countenance, so cheery and always smiling. Lady running the hotel was also very friendly and very helpful with advice on things to do with our 4 year old while others in our family skiing. Her advice also meant we avoided the tight mountain road we had entered Les 2 Alpes on, so route on the way back down so much less daunting!!

Pros: It is not crowded area but has all functionalities, very close to chair lift, ski pass office and equipment rental shop. Moreover the hotel big boss Mr. Michele is so kind and knows everything about Les 2 Alpes. When I have another plan to come back, I will stay in Jam session hotel. And thanks Sera for your kindness and cares to our family.

Cons: Nothing to say bad things. You will not be disappointed in this hotel specially in family trip.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. We were there during a week where the hotel was fully occupied (apart from us and one other family) by a 100+ Jewish holiday party, so it was very busy and noisy, but we knew about the party before we booked. Everyone was very friendly and the staff sorted out any problems straight away. Second time there for me, I think I will go back, but will choose a quieter time.

Cons: the cold in the room; the heat was completely stopped during the night. I remembered the nights of the Ceausescu era, when the romanian dictator kept the population in the cold.

Cons: Rooms were on the cold side, I was given a heater that helped a bit. Boot room could have facilities to heat boots Shower had very poor pressure

Pros: The comfy beds, the copious and varied Italian cuisine dinner, the proximity to the cable car, to the resort center and to the rental shop, the voucher for the skis rent, the really good service in the restaurant, the mirror in front of the bed, the italian shower. Nothing luxurious just really functional. Not to forget the friendly dog at the reception desk that meets any willing customer with outdtanding playfulness.

Cons: Only two things: - the chairs in the dinning room. Really unconfortable and at bad height with respect to the table. Especially after a hard day of skiing... - the drying machine in the ski storage didn't work. So the ski boots won't really dry inside over night although the room itself was very warm.

Pros: The location and dinner were great. Every evening a different speciality (Indian, Oriental, French, etc.) and lots of variety in the dinner buffet. The location is very central next to the Jandri Express Lift for going all the way to the gletsjer. The price had also been very ok. The personnel was very friendly and helpfull too. The balcony was very comfortable. Some rooms do not have a balcony, so if you want one, please check which rooms have one. The hotel looked modern and remodeled from the outside. It also has a nice sun terrace with lounge chairs.

Cons: The cleanliness of the room could be better. The carpet was wornout and dusty. The toilet had a strange odor. The walls had some tiny stains of blood. The size of rooms could be bigger. We went in summer, but if you come in winter with your ski gear, the room is quite small.

Pros: Location was just amazing. Right on the piste, next door to ESF and Bruno Sports conveniently located under the hotel. Could not be better, especially when we had two small kids with ESF lessons.

Cons: Dinner quality could be more consistent as sometimes we had great food, but some nights were not at par. Breakfast could have been better as well. Lunchtime the brasserie gets very busy, but there is nothing to be done about it.

Pros: Great for the ski lifts. Food was very good at lunch and dinner, and simpler at breakfast.

Cons: Not all rooms have a bath although pictures suggest this. The room we were given needed renovating. Charged twice for city tax although it had been prepaid and receipt was shown.

Cons: Not such a big issue but having to re-enter the wife code every time you want to use wifi!!!

Pros: Close to lifts and nightlife, dated but clean & functional rooms. Evening food was excellent, good choice for breakfast. Small bar area was excellent for after dinner drinks prior to going out.
