Great value, location, & classic beautyPros: Location, a short walk to Water St & Lakefront, classic beauty & character, not a cookie cutter 'new' hotel. Cons: Replace the outlets, plugs fell out
Pros: location was excellent. old historic hotel with charmCons: in need of renovation.
Faded beautyPros: Stately, quiet old hotel in a great location.Cons: In need of renovation and TLC. No continental breakfast.
Pros: It is located with in walking distance to the downtown and BMO. Friendly helpful staff. Close to the lake for a great morning stroll. Have had breakfast in their restaurant and it was above average.
Will stay there again. Free parking.Cons: nothing
Decent for a one night stayPros: Good location, Staff was friendly,Cons: Old, antique, run-down, rooms were like old worn bedrooms, kinda creepy, bathrooms not the cleanest, beds and pillows uncomfortable, in desperate need for remodeling. Semi-decent for a cheap one night stay if you're traveling in and out of the city and aren't spending much time there and want something affordable. Staff was friendly and very decent
Pros: I'm from the Milwaukee area and have not had an opportunity to visit, let alone stay, at the Astor. Loved the rooms and the location to so many sites. The staff was great. Daniel took care of a little hiccup with refreshing professionalism.
Like being in a Jim Jarmusch film Pros: its got character, its cheap, great location.
Pros: Fair price for what you get.Cons: Not very good outlet placement which isn't the end of the world or anything huge, but charging my phone was a pain due to location and the outlets are so old that your charger falls out regularly
amazing hotelPros: My. Husband and I stayed at the Astor for a wedding. It was so comfortable, quaint and the staff was extremely nice. We also really enjoyed the attached bar/restaurant. The only downfall is that they dont offer even as little as coffee in the morning, it is $10 for parking and the walls are extremely thin. Overall, our stay was amazing for the amount of money we paid. We will definitly be staying at the Astor more.
Pros: Room was nice and comfortable.Cons: Amenities and staff sport were lacking.
Good hotelPros: Nice stay
