It woul have helped for the company to have the vehicle I reserved available. Apparently this is common with hertz, as a service rep explained.

Pros:

Nothing. The employees were not nice or helpful. We took a $30 uber from the airport in Memphis to Hertz, to be nonchalantly told that since we didn't get there by noon, the estimated pick up time, that our vehicle was given away and that they were sold out of any vehicles. took us 30 minutes to get another uber to get back to the airport to rent from Avis. Avis was employees were extremely nice and vehicle was brand new.

The person said cars are not avaipable even if they had cars and l have already prebooked it. Later the person said he will figure out something and gave one of the car as I was with the family there which are quite older. The questions asked during the car pickup were also quite irrelevant as compared to my previous experiences. Nobody asked me earlier who is your employer and give me your insurance details for some reason. Also, how the car appeared available suddenly after seeing I will be there standing figuring out what to do next. The car didn't had any viper fluid also. I am thankful that I finally got the car but the dealing and not giving the car in the first time either thinking to make it available for higher prices for future booking or some other reason.

Very nice staff. Very professional.

Cons:

poor performance and high mileage in car. both cars had problems and had to return the first car due to engine light coming on and second car the breaks went out.

After booking the car, no car was available at the final time and I got charged for additional insurance while I was booking for the car and later couldnot get the car. Not a good experience at all.

Pros:

Staff are unfriendly. The pick-up is inconvenient and disorganized. There is garbage and standing water all over the parking garage and car rental area. We didn't get the car we booked. We had no assistance with our child seat. The car we picked up was dirty and not in great shape. The overall pick up experience took more than an hour. I hate you all.

Cons:

Y'all need to up your game. You should be ashamed of the way these businesses are ran.

Pros:

Drop off was smooth other than the fact employee checked out customer who returned car after me first as he was more aggressive to the window.

Cons:

Wait time for car, I reserved in advance, was well over an hour. Then desk staff asked me if I wanted to wait “ for my car” or take a mid size SUV upgrade. I asked if there was a charge, she said yes yet could not tell me how much til she ran my credit card. Then proceeded to tell me it was$11 more for the wkd, and at frustration to just get a car I agreed. My car was not an upgrade as I was to have an intermediate suv like “ a Nissan Rogue”. In fact I got a compact Nissan Kicks which my 6’5” passenger hardly fit. Just irritated that you charged ME extra, Gabe me a smaller car, and could do so because customers are already angry waiting for so long to get out of the airport

I appreciated that I got the vehicle I requested.

Cons:

My truck had no tags on it. My pickup was for 4 pm, but I vwas told that I would have to either go to the airport in the truck with no tags or wait until someone from the airport could bring it. I couldn't believe they asked me to drive a truck with no tags. Eventually some tags were put on the truck and I was on my way.

Pros:

My vehicle was in the shop so needed a last minute vehicle. It was a good size. After cleaning it we were able to use for exactly what was needed a short vacation.

Cons:

The car was very dirty, it wasn’t vacuumed. I had to dis infect it when I got it home. The windshield was cracked and drips of drinks and what not on the doors and seats. For having to pay $65 per day it was pretty gross.
