Pros: The view and location, staff was good Cons: Bed small
Excellent StayPros: Winter prices are amazing compared to their summer rates. Everything was extremely clean and the the view from our 7th floor room was outstanding.
Pros: Beautiful lobby, beds were comfortable, shower pressure was good. We only stayed one night both would stay again should we go back to Ocean City
Very convenient Pros: Location was convenient and hotel was clean , free parking Cons: The pool was bit small and price for the hotel was too high
Pros: Beautiful property and courteous, attentive staff.Cons: No Internet and room service in the adjoining property. That wasn't disclosed at check in or in the in-room instructions.
Dunes SuitesPros: Access to beach and boardwalk a plusCons: Did not receive maid service, sheets were dirty/stained, sand throughout sheets, no beach/ocean view from first floor. Parking limited. Suites not located in hotel, building across street. Love the hotel, but won't stay in suites again. Expected more from Dunes Manor
Pros: Very nice room, friendly housekeepingCons: Poor front desk staff, room over an hour late to be ready (4:15p for a 3p check-in)
Pros: Ocean-front views.Cons: Difficulty in making reservation & in getting a fixed price!
Surly staff person at check-in. Gave us room on floor 5, despite request for higher floor. Room had a second queen-size bed: why??
No chair, other than straight-back for desk. No place to watch TV except from 2nd bed. Noisy fridge and blower in bathroom.
No one at registration desk to provide info or "key" to enter exercise room. Breakfast buffet price ($17) is exorbitant! Hotel website did NOT mention that OC was celebrating St. Patrick's Day with parade, one week early! Hotel provided no means for written feedback.
In general, overpriced, living on laurels from another time.
Location location location Pros: Great view
Great beach access Cons: Pool area needed supervision
No bell hops
Free coffee should stay til 9
Bar food was very average
Pros: Rooms very clean, staff was great.
The wife loved the afternoon tea.
Convienient location, all rooms are ocean front.Cons: I liked everything about the hotel.
Exceeded my expectationsPros: Great location - looking out from the room's balcony, you can see that the end of the boardwalk is only a block away. Great view of the beach/ocean. Room was EXACTLY like the picture, very clean and spacious. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others. Never was I disappointed or let down by anything; it's was really the opposite, I kept being pleasantly surprised.
Pros: Good location Cons: After checking in we dropped our luggage at the room and went to the beach for an hour and a half .returned to the room to find our carpet next to the bed soaked . I go to the front desk to let them know to find out that they don't have anothere room to put us in and they would send maintenance up to check on the ac unit. We waited to get dressed for dinner until the maintenance man came and all he did was remove the water with a shop vac and said he would let the desk know what was going on and that's all they could do. I followed up with the desk and the supervisor on duty said there is nothing they could do. I asked for the manger and was told he was in a meeting and not available. So my floor was soaked my entire stay at the dunes and the staff basically said deal with it. I paid way too much money to just deal with. I would not recommend staying there again. Poor management and an inconvenience when you only have a few vacation days
Also they placed me in a handicap equipped room . They made me feel as though I was being punished for booking on the Web
