Pros:They had extra space and upgraded our room for free! Very easy to walk downtown. The hill is steep but short. We have a 3 and 6 year old who were not with us but could have easily handled the walk (we did travel in summer so maybe a different story dealing with snow if you're not used to it). The elevator was up and working during our visit and was very fast and efficient!
Cons:Lovely hotel, the only complaint is that our GPS could not find the place despite entering the address exactly as it appeared on our booking confirmation. We wasted at least 30 minutes driving around trying to find it and when I mentioned it at checkin we were told that it is on the opposite side of the highway from Ortisei, which gives it an address for the neighboring city (can't remember the name but it was not S. Cristina or Selva but rather the opposite direction) even though it is so close to downtown Ortisei.
