This was one of the worse hotel stays I've had. We were there for a swim meet at MAC. We chose the hotel b/c it is right across the street. (1) When we walked into our room, there was a pool of water on the bathroom floor that upon quick exploration was from the toilet. Also the toilet made a huge hissing noise for over 2 minutes after flushing. When I called to request a room change, they said I would have to wait until a mechanic evaluated it. I implored them that this was not something I felt comfortable staying in the room, but they would not listen. Of course once the mechanic came, he took one look and within 10 seconds said I needed to switch rooms. (2) The Wifi was really slow and repetitively kept kicking me off their network... (3) the ice machine was leaking all over the floor, creating mold. There is a Sheraton that is connected, but under same management (i.e. there is only 1 front desk). I suspect it is no better, but don't know first hand...

When I booked and checked before starting to drive from Washington, D.C., to Roswell, GA., where we live, I had no idea that an NFL cried would occupy the entire hotel! Understaffed and overwhelmed, we had to buy a bowl of soup from the gift shop as the two restaurants were overcapacity. No room service due to COVID and no deliveries from Uber Eats or any such service allowed. The next day, the much-trumpeted breakfast was similar to Fairfield Inn or other Marriott facilities of lesser value per cost f room per day, including breakfast. The difference was in this one; there was proper silverware and dishes. They ran out of cups. In Marriott's defense, I must say, it was a Football crowd!!! Of course, an entire tray of eggs was gone when three customers, in a line of 15, filled their plates! Marriott has always been my hotel of choice since 1986. I am a Lifetime Titanium Bon Voy member. Their Manager, front desk staff, and housekeeping tried their best to make our stay better with a smile.

Cons:Employees seemed a bit uninterested in dealing with me as a customer. They weren't quite as friendly as I was hoping. There were several dirty and dusty areas in my room which was gross and not at all what I was expecting.

Pros:comfortable beds; good coffee
Cons:this hotel is designed to be hip; it has a rooftop bar that is clearly a scene, an outdoor pool with blaring pop music which is attached to another large bar. This hotel shares facilities with the Sheraton next door. If you're under 35 without kids in tow, this is probably the place to be. For everyone else, it's certainly a nice enough hotel but the whole ambience -- decor, menu, espresso bar etc is just too much like an upscale spring break party -- at least the weekend we stayed.

Pros:Lovely hotel with great location.
Cons:The temperature in the room could not be adjusted making it too warm throughout the night. Despite the fact that the hotel wasn't crowded the valet did not have our car when we requested making us late for our meeting. Also, the valet closed the car door on my wool wrap leaving a hole & grease stain in it!

Pros:Comfortable linens and an attentive staff highlighted our quick get-away weekend to this Queen City of the mid-Atlantic. It was a plant 15-minute stroll to the uptown area along quite, tree-lined streets.
Cons:We expected queen and king-sized beds. We were given a room with two full-sized beds and ill-fitted sheets. The lighting was not all in working order, and my phone failed to charge overnight, leaving me curious about the staff electrician. There was no door in the walk-in shower, and the overspray nearly caused a slip on the floor of the cramped bath. It was a week after the DST time change, but the clock hadn't been touched. None of these issues was show-stopping, but noteworthy as a collection of caveats.
