Pros: The car was good and staff helpful.Cons: I am very frustrated that an extra 16 pound per day was required because I could not decline insurance. This had not happened before when I rented from them but was due to the way I booked it. The staff claimed this was a "requirement" but had not happened in my previous bookings.

Classic Bait and switchPros: NothingCons: Operating out of a trailer. Arrived with a Mercedes reservation, then offered a dirty Mitsubishi as a “comparable vehicle”. No price adjustments. Then the kicker, this gal goes on about how I need a notarized letter from my credit card insurance to them verifying liability coverage. Not mentioned in the reservation. So instead i am offered the chance to double the reservation cost through their insurance (again, for the Mitsubishi ) WITH a $2500 deposit. Total sham. I walked out. Plus you’re stranded once you get there which is probably why people pay the prices.

Great vehicle but several service drawbacksPros: Vehicle was fine, but service was poor.Cons: Despite getting a nice vehicle, I will never rent from this company again. The shuttle from the airport was not easy to arrange and their location was difficult to find at drop-off (even with a GPS nav system!) The company refused to accept our personal collision insurance (even with the paperwork!), resulting in a fee for their provided insurance. After picking up the vehicle and seeing British roadways for the first time, my elderly father (who we paid 130 pounds to be listed as an additional driver) was uncomfortable driving there. I called the following day to cancel the additional driver for the remainder of the trip (13 of the 14 days), and the Easirent rep said it couldn't be done and was quite abrupt / rude on the phone.

Pushy, scammy car rental companyPros: NothingCons: Car didn't function properly. Needed service. Employee spent more time pushing insurance coverage on its than checking for damage that existed on the car. When we felt uncomfortable with the situation and wanted to cancel, they were going to charge the entire rental. Had to be picked up by calling them at an international destination.

Not the rental we originally requestedPros: When we finally exhanged the vehicle in another city, it was comfortable.Cons: We requested a 7 seater but when we arrived, it was not available. We got a substitute but it was cramped even though it was a larger vehicle (one row of seats was missing 8n the Transporter). We managed to get it exchanged in Edinburgh (rented in Glasgow) but was told the wrong location to go so it took us several hours of our vacation time to do this. There was no manual in the vehicle so when the tire pressure light came on, we inflated the tires and had to stop frequently to make sure that everything was still okay. Return office in London is not well marked and instructions on where to park car not clear.

AmazingPros: The staff were helpful and strives to get us the best deal possible. I suggest doing the top insurance policy with them because then you have no stress about the state of the car especially when your trying to learn how to drive on the wrong side of the road!Cons: There’s nothing really that I did not like about my experience with easirent. I’d rent with them again in a heart beat.
Pros: Steven at pickup was great and very helpful. He did not try a hard upsell, which has often happened to me. At drop off, Kristian was wonderful; there was a small bit of damage and he was comforting and helpful. He was very clear about the process.Cons: When we had to change the time of pickup because the airline cancelled our early flight it was very difficult to work it out; office hours were sketchy (no 24/7 service from Sixt on the phone) and the communication among the staff seemed less than perfectly effective. In the end it worked out though

Being charged 1400£ for the tiniest tire tread tearPros: Comfortable new car that was reliable. But...Cons: Upon return they point out a tiny tear in the drivers side tire. I'm talking 1cm deep and 3cm wide, in the tread (not side wall). Was told it would be a discussion but by the time I got off my flight home I had been charged $2000CAD and was only left a 30 second voicemail. Unbelievable.
Pros: Quick and professional service both in picking up and dropping off the car.

Ripped off again in Scotland.Cons: I was ripped off again. The second time this has happened to me in Glasgow, UK. At the end of the rental, I was charged for scratches on the wheel rim which I did not cause. All of the wheels had scrapes and scratches on them. The person checking me in only looked at ONE rim and pointed out several scratches which he said "looked new". They charged me GBP 120.00 for the scratches, and a GBP 55.00 fee for "damage processing". How ridiculous. I am going to contest these charges, because I did not drive up on curbs or otherwise damage this rim. I only parked in the hotel parking lot and at the COSTCO parking lot, both of which had parking slots and no curbs.

Pros: The car itself was great.Cons: The site says the office is in the terminal. It was not. Just a Hirt walk. But still misleading. The wait to pick up the car was long. It cost way more than the original quote. And the directions for drop off were easily missed. I found it more by luck than by following the roadside directions.

Pros: The Peugeot 308 handled well and was large enough to be comfortable for three people and luggage. We drove it around for two weeks in England and Scotland. The staff at the Glasgow airport were knowledgeable and friendly, though service was a little slow due to many customers.

Pros: Customer service person was great - we found the staff to be incredibly pleasant. The car itself was great.Cons: The rental was MUCH more costly than what was advertised and the bill that came afterwards was very hard to understand. They press you to add insurance and then there are increased taxes and fees that you don't know about. The bill was about 25% more than we were expecting. Pretty frustrating... and expensive.

Didn't have car, extra feesPros: The first person I met seemed to want to be helpful (but she handed me over to another)Cons: They didn't even have the car we booked (7 person) on site, despit having booked it weeks in advance. They gave us a 5 person car, tried to tell us it was better than the one we booked and if we wanted the 7-seater we would have to come back to the airport at night and hopefully one would be ready. Then they added extra fees for "minimum required legal insurance", saying we were quoted the wrong amount because we booked on the US site (we have French drivers licenses). Disappointing.
Pros: Staff was dishonest with gas prices, check their word against the receipt. Also any tiny unnoticeable ding on the hubcap will be changed to you. Scotland is the worst place I ever rent cars.Cons: Service.

Pros: I called Hertz 2x before I picked up the car, the 1st time to let them know that my flight was delayed 12 hours, and I was told they would still have my car available. The 2nd time I called to extend my rental a day, and they were very helpful, and extended the reservation at very little cost.Cons: Economy Car was not held for me, despite me having called beforehand to confirm it would be. No real effort was made to provide a smaller car when I expressed concern over the huge replacement vehicle I was given (Scotland has tiny roads and they gave me a Volkswagon Caddy). No personnel at drop-off

Pros: The car, a brand we had never even heard of (a Seat Leon), was comfortable, compact, thoughtfully designed, quiet, and a pleasure to drive.Cons: They could have given us a manual or instructions on the Infotainment system. It was not easy to work out what all the functions were and how to use them, and we didn't even find the CD player (in the glove compartment) until near the end of our trip.

Not as AdvertisedCons: I chose this company because it was listed as at the terminal. It wasn't. I had to call them three times to be picked up. It took 45 minutes after discovering they weren't at the airport. No floor mats and they were going to charge a cleaning fee if the carpets weren't clean upon return. It was bloody raining all week. That's why you have floor mats.

Pros: Nothing. I did not get the car at all. I paid $203 for full rental and they tried to charge me 700 pounds on pick up and charge more costs. Awful experience and awful car rental company. I eventually walked away from the car rental due to what they were trying to charge me in addition, when clearly the confirmation said 0 due at pick up.Cons: Stay away from Green Motion Car Rental at all costs. Awful experience, awful customer service. Downright lies spewed at pick up. Saying I needed a passport to rent car, but would waive requirement if I paid 300 pounds. Would not accept my credit card, but would take my Debit card for an extra charge per day. Very rude to me when all of this was questioned saying it was in the small print of their terms. Please remove this car rental company from your advertising.
