You guys completely overbooked and if you are going to blame Enterprise then you're double bad for both overbooking and not taking responsibility for the service you provide. Pros: My experience was a disaster!..... You confirmed me a pick up truck with ENTERPRISE and when I went to pick it up, they did not have it available... I spent $ 65 in transportation and 2 hours of my time plus disrupted plans, YOU ARE COOKS and LIARS!...... NEVER EVER Aagain will go trough you and will post everywhere how liars you are!!!

Pros: The staff was friendly and both pick-up and drop-off was easyCons: I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness in my rental. It did not look like my rental vehicle was even cleaned or sanitized. I expected more from Enterprise rental especially with the covid-19 pandemic. I made sure to document with pictures all my dissatisfactions and was tempted to let the staff know of them at my drop-off point, but I am truly not one of those consumers, In all honestly this is my first review ever, but Like I said I was disappointed in the initial presentation of my vehicle at my pick-up point.

Pros: Actually I have cancelled the reservation, but I had the opportunity to perceive the experience up to the point where it ceased. Renting a vehicle is like gambling in a casino. Prices on the website changes overtime up and down like a luck game. It’s insane! In a few instances the staff was courteous, but the whole process is close to a scam. Similar experience is like purchasing a new vehicle in a dealer, wherein one feel like swimming in a pool crowded with white and tiger sharks. Nefasto!Cons: If only the intention behind capitalist ‘business’ was not evil as it’s. “The road to hell is paved with good intentions.” “The last capitalist we hang shall be the one who sold us the rope.”

Cons: I never actually got the car. I had to cancel because traveling during COVID was probably not the best idea. Every other place gave me a full refund or at least a credit. Sixt still charged me a portion of my rental for canceling. Kind of ridiculous giving the circumstances.

Pros: Drop off was easy and a relief. Vehicle was clean.Cons: I ordered a luxury, they had none. I paid for a Mercedes SUV Luxury vehicle. I was on hold for over 90 minutes (screen shot of call) when I tried to complain. I received a Jeep Grand Cherokee. And 25 dollars off my bill. They wanted to refund my debit card I paid with 2 weeks prior to my reservation. Then charge it to a major credit card. I asked why charged and refunded. They then Claimed I didn't read terms and conditions where it explains everything. I was not the only client they did this to while i was there. I wasn't the only one Sixt did this to that day. They didn't have someone elses luxury vehicle who had prepaid and scheduled to be picked up and already paid for. They bate you for what you want online then switch with shitty model and take off a very small inconvenience "sorry" while charging you for tolls and extra insurances. Scam will not use sixt again. Ever.

Pros: Pick up was excellent. Staff assisted with ease despite me mistakenly booking the wrong airport. I ended up getting rental from Hollywood International FLL instead of Miami. Drop-off was quick and easy and I didn't have to worry about missing my flight despite being strapped for time.

Cons: I was lied to about the toll situation in South Florida. I was told I would hit 7 tolls between Miami and Key West. I was told I would pay $10 per occurrence if I didn't accept its toll program. After driving to Key West and noticing I did not hit a single toll, I called the number on my rental agreement to cancel the remainder of the toll policy, since I was paying $10.99 per day and had 6 days remaining of my 12 day rental. I was staying in Marathon Key, one hour and 20 minutes from Key West. I was told by the person on the phone that I had to either go to a rental counter in Key West or Miami to remove the feature. So I was expected to drive either 80 minutes or 120 minutes to remove the policy. I was given a local number to call, but I always received a phone message saying the location was either closed or unavailable. I could not leave a message. Additionally, there was something with the car that caused it to feel like something was stuck under the auto carriage one the vehicle went over 45-50 miles an hour. The return process was a fiasco too. I was directed to a specific location, and had to wait over 10 minutes to be addressed.

Cons: The car we were provided (Toyota Sequoia) had a check engine light on and the manager, Wayne, refused to swap us to another vehicle that fit our family. Instead he was demanding we paid an upgrade fee and go to a suburban. We sat in the airport for 2 1/2 hours on the phone with corporate trying to complain. Corporate was of no support. Finally an employee went to the back and found an expedition and let us take it at risk to his own job. The car fit our family but had a brownie stuck to the backseat and had clearly not been cleaned. I believe this is because the employee had to take it from the prep line to give it to us. The sort of behavior is absolutely unacceptable and is a terrible representation of both budget and thrifty as the manager wore both emblems. This individual has no business dealing with the public and was clearly out to gouge people in need. We sat sweating in the airport with a small baby and for other children for over two hours because of the managers unwillingness to take responsibility for a broken vehicle. He told us to take the broken vehicle and then pull over to the side and immediately call roadside assistance and they would be able to swap us out for another vehicle. I was not going to be stuck on the side of the road in Miami by the airport with five children Waiting for roadside assistance that is insane.

I received a call on the plane waiting to take off that Hertz was closing at noon. about the time we were getting ready to take off. when I arrived at the airport they were open but was told they couldn't find my reservation. I was also told in no uncertain terms that there was no cars available. I walked away and went to Enterprise and rented myself a car. This will be my last dealings with Hertz .

Cons: I have no words to describe how awful this experience has been. I have been a gold member for twenty years. I will never rent from you again. On 8/16/20 I contracted with Hertz to rent a cargo van in Miami on 8/21, to be dropped off at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington DC, in downtown, on 8/24, one block from my hotel. This was important to me because there happens to be a worldwide pandemic going on, my husband and I are both in the high risk category, and I did not want to have to return the cargo van to the airport and then be forced to get into a taxi or Uber with a stranger. On 8/24 we drove to The Renaissance Hotel and your desk, according to the Hotel, was abandoned for weeks before my date of rental, 8/16, information you should have known at the time of our contract. A sign on the desk directed us to a Hertz at 699 7 St, NW. We drove there, your personnel walked out took one look at the cargo van, and decided she wouldn’t take it, when I insisted I was leaving it, she rudely told me I’d get tickets, get towed, and get arrested for not returning it to the airport, or Falls Church (over an hour away). Mind you, I am in DC in the middle of moving three daughters, and now I have a cargo van, no where to park it, and no where to return it that doesn’t risk our lives. I parked it on the street and proceeded to engage in a three hour odyssey with your customer service, roadside assistance and “contract extension request” (pretty ironic) departments, as each unhelpful person claimed it was the other departments job, and couldn’t help us and transferred us with 50 minute waits and a maddening game of customer volleyball. I have ALL this on audiotape. A customer service person told us to try dropping it off at a different Hertz which was walking distance, 601 F St, NW. We interrupted our move again and drove there, guess what? It was the back address of the SAME Hertz at 699 7 St, NW, where I was rudely sent on my way four hours earlier! I tried your chat line, not available. I wrote you “contact us” email, no one answered. I called West Kendall Toyota, where I rented it, and left a message with Robert, who was duly horrified at my predicament, and promised for your Hertz manager would get right back to me. He never did. I used west Kendall Toyota’s text line explaining everything, and they too assured me he would get back to me shortly. Again, no response. I texted that line again the following day. No response. Eventually, worn down by your lack of even the slightest bit of assistance, we drove the vehicle to the airport on 8/27 when we were able to make arrangements that did not include being forced to take a taxi or Uber or public transportation. Given your grotesque and dangerous breach of our contract, it seems manifestly unfair for you to charge us for this rental.

Pros: I had a multi-month rental. The monthly price was low at $613. It was a KIA Soul, all automatic, rear view camera, good trunk size with fold-down seats. Probably a 5-6 year old vehicle. Well used, but clean. They did allow me to extend the rental with just a phone call.Cons: Check in was at the Hertz desk in a Hilton hotel - not at a regular hertz office. Took almost an hour to get the car as other Hilton guests were served before us. The car itself was a KIA Soul - not the Corolla we were hoping for. Also Hertz charged my credit card a higher amount in month one, lower in month two, the expected rate ($613) in month three and then below expected rate in month four.

I was told I needed additional insurance for the vehicle which was an additional $15 per day. I asked if I already have lability insurance would that suffice. He told me he didn’t know for me to call my insurance company. I contact the company my coverage was sent over via email he reviewed it and then proceeded to tell me the vehicle I’ve made reservations for was unavailable. I was given what I thought was to be a minivan upon getting to the van I just covered it with a 15 passenger van. I was traveling with my two children there was no need for a 15 passenger van. I list with a midsize car which I was please it wasn’t the 15 passenger van

Finally I see a guy and he doesn’t want to help and he wants me to figure out how to get the car out of the othe return line which the car is blocked in at this point . He is not giving me any idea what to do at this point and talked to me like I was stupid . I know where the car should be returned but if I’m too early and trying to make a flight, and the return lane is closed, what do I do? After trying to look for someone, I come back down and there is another guy . I pretty much broke down at this point trying not to explain to him and he just says give me the keys I will take care of it ! Don’t stress , and to take care of my baby. Luckily after running I was able to make my flight. If only the other guy had the same attitude.

Pros: EZ counter had no customer but said couldn't help me and sent me to Advantage counter where I had to wait behind 2 customers. When finally helped agent had difficulty finding my reservations and asked why I didnt go to EZ counter. Process took longer than past experiences renting cars from other rental companies. My personal car was in repair and I was not sure if may need extension on rental days. The agent advised they dont extend amd I would need to return rental and then start over in rental process. This did not make sense to me and would be an inconvenience. In past I have been able to extend my rental with other companies by simply calling amd requesting.Cons: As noted in my experience with EZ, I had some inconveniences that the company could have avoided.

Attempting to Scam and Upcharge UsPros: The customer service agent on the phone was ready to help us correct the awful service we received at the counter.Cons: The agent at the counter told us that the car we had reserved (mid-sized car) was not available, and told us our only options were to wait an undetermined amount of time for another one, or to pay an extra fee for an SUV. The agent was unwilling to find us a comparable car to what we booked. After contacting EZ’s customer customer service on the phone, we were informed that the counter agent was not allowed to upcharge us for a different vehicle based upon the fact that we had reserved a different one and that they “didn’t have it there at the time”. Oddly enough as soon as the agent at the counter realized I was on the phone with customer service, she suddenly had a mid-sized car available for us. When we went to get the keys from a different agent at the lot, we were told that they had had several mid-sized cars all day. Clearly the agent inside was trying to scam and upcharge us unecessarily. We will definitely not be renting from EZ-rent-a-car again.

Had to pay the under age fee even tho on the phone I was told I wasn’t. She never answered the phone even when we were in front of her she just let it ring and no one ever could get assistance. Only one person working and the manager was in the back finally came out after I asked for her. Why was it not all hands on deck with a line of people?

Cons: Fox's hidden charge due to requiring that I purtchase their insurance and not following industrey practice of accepting insurance from my credit card would have more than doubled the price that I was quoted on line. The lack of disclosure regarding the actual cost of rental is highly misleading. I refused the car and went back to the rental car terminal and rented a car from a major company at a lower price, even though it was on the same day. Also - the rental location is substantially off-site, not in the Miami Rental Car Center. The location where you have to wait for the shuttle provides no shade or shelter at all.

I purchased insurance separately from Allianz and I already have rental car accident coverage from my car insurance and also from my credit card. So, I was triple covered. They still charged the fees even after I declined. Their toll fee is ridiculously high. $11.99 per day. They gave me a totally different car from what was promised. The car which I got smelled weed and was nasty without washed or vacuumed. It was disgusting. Their office is tiny, no profession workers at the location, The car was old and due for service for weeks. We landed at Miami around 9:30 pm, so we got to the Rental place after 10. I’m not sure if it’s the Fox company (from reading other reviews,I’m pretty sure it is) or the guys working late because they have no customer service ability, but we felt like we were in a confrontation with him from the moment we walked in. He was very manipulative about add ons...like insurance and toll fees. He would not answer any us our questions directly. When we finally signed the contract to get the car he said there was no smoking in the car. We told that was fine because we don’t smoke. His response was, “Even if we smell a hint of smoke, we’ll charge you.” We went to the car and it smell like smoke. They tried to tell us that it was the COVID cleaner they were using. We asked to smell a different car and it didn’t smell like smoke, so we asked to change. The parking lot attendant was pretty nice and let us change. We walked around the car to mark any dents on the car like they told us to and while we were leavening we asked the parking lot attended to sign the paper. He said he didn’t need to because he had signed his which didn’t have the marked dents. He did finally sign ours and off we went. When we turned in the car, the lady was nice, but we videoed the walk around to prove the car was not damaged when we came back.

Pros: BEWARE OF HIDDEN FEES. DO NOT RENT HERE. Strongly advise against renting from FOX. We rented through Priceline/Kayak for $140, but when we arrived were told there would be an additional $220 of hidden fees. They said, "You need to read the fine print". We showed them the receipt from Priceline, and there was NO fine print indicating additional fees for insurance, daily rate, etc. They insisted, "It was on the website", but I know it was not. I rent cars all the time; this is a total scam. Thankfully, I went on my COSTCO app and was able to get one from AVIS for a total of $200 out the door. They turned us away at 11:30 at night. Shame on you FOX. Moreover, FOX is also off-airport, so it takes over 45 minutes just to get to their site, and then an additional 30 minutes worth of waiting and screwing around. Pros: The car itself was great! Clean and comfortable as expected.Cons: The customer service was not good - very rude front desk working checking us in and it took over 30 minutes to get checked in and get the car. The worst part is that I was charged $100 more than what I booked for on Kayak which was frustrating. Had I known that was going to be the case I would not have chosen a value rental and went with a better company and paid the same amount. Extra money for the sunpass was also excessive considering every rental car is supposed to have a sunpass but they charged a daily rate to have the sunpass in addition to paying for all of the tolls in the end as well. Would never recommend NextCar to anyone and am disappointed that Kayak allows this company to scam through their website.

Pros: The car was great and operates fine. Decently cleanCons: They wouldn’t except the car insurance I already have and made me pay another $150 for their insurance. When you show up there are tons of fees and extra charges. Ended up spending more money than if I went to enterprise or some more popular rental company and I had way more hassle. They aren’t located at the airport like other companies but are a couple miles off site.

Worst car rental ever.Cons: I was kept waiting at the airport for over an hour without a phone. A kind gentleman called them for me and they still didnt come gor another 40 minutes. When I arrived there were hidden charges that were never mentioned when booking. I was disgusted.

Insurance policy was different on their web site from when on site.Cons: They didn't want to accept my insurance coverage even if I had proof wanted to charge me an extra $15 a day to have insurance with their associates making the total cost more expensive than other rental car companies. Resulted in not using their service because of false information and ended up having to pay for a cab back to Hallandale $50 trip.

Pros: Worst experience ever.Cons: A dump in the middle of nowhere. Staff didn’t even say hello. They waited until it was awkward. Then they were slow. Then they came up with every reason to add money. 3rd part insurance at 28$ a day. Tolls at 15$ a day or $25 a time used. Told me my credit card coverage was not enlugh. I walked out and called a friend for a ride home. 118 countries I’ve visited. Usually rent 20+ times a year. Not here.

Pros: The robbed me of 190 dollars extra from what you guys told me the price would be .. 190 is almost 200 percent extra, how is this possible ? I had no choice but to pay 255 dollars for 2 days for the cheapest car possible, thanks for recommending these guys to our familyCons: The worst experience in car rental possible, go to enterprise or a main stream company, these guys will wipe the floor with your hard earned money

Pros: Nothing.Cons: Everything. I paid double what you quoted. There was a charge at every turn. Except for Kathy, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. It took an hour to get the shuttle from the airport. I will never book through you again.

Pros: Nothing.....we were not able to locate the rental car facility in Miami from the address provided. It brought us to a very sketchy part of town that had no businesses other than scrap metal! We tried calling but found out that Customer Service was located in Canada and they could only be reached via email! Not very helpful when we needed assistance ASAP! We ended driving to the Miami airport and going in to find a different company to rent from! We will never use Routes again!! We will stick with the legit, well-known, national brand rental companies going forward!Cons: EVERYTHING!! Would not recommend (see above)!
