It took a long time to get the car when I arrived. I felt that they were understaffed. It took about 10-15 mins a person to check in.

It took about 10-15 minutes to get helped because phone calls seemed to be a priority. However, once I was finally served, the process was seamless and the service was excellent.

My issue here wasn't hertz it was kayak.The issue was, i booked a car online through kayak at hertz. I took a taxi to the location, come to find out the location has been closed for months. I called Kayak and couldn't get a representative on the phone but instead was forwarded to hertz through prompts. Honestly, i will not use Kayak again for renting a car.

Wonderful customer service! I accidentally reserved a car at a location other than the airport. When I found out and called the location I had rented it from,, Ricardo brought car over to me at the airport! I will rent from them again. Also Kayak got me a much better price than their listed prices.

The only experience that was good was returning the car to the airport where I received some sympathy for the horrendous experience we had with this rental.Go direct through the rental car company, not a 3rd party like Kayak. They offered a deal at Ontario Airport and when we got to the Hertz counter (after waiting about an hour in line) we were told the car was not there, it was rented through the Hertz a couple of miles away. We had to take a Lyft to the other location just to find they had moved their office (nobody told us), but the Lyft driver had another fare and took off leaving us at a seedy business park in 105 degree heat. After a 2nd Lyft, we finally made it to the off site office, just to have to wait an additional hour for our crappy car that had nearly 50k miles on it. We had a 10 am reservation, and we're just getting on the road at 2:30 pm. Nothing was done to make up for our experience, and the only sympathy we got was from the airport Hertz attendant when we returned the car. I have rented countless cars over the last 35 years, and this was the worst experience I have ever had.

Nice carTerrible pickup and drop off. Had to cab to offsite location for $25. Had to return car to airport after arriving back at offsite location and was charged another $10.70 in airport fees. Tried to call offsite location but phone was not working. Called 11 times before getting through

After our excellent experience at this rental agency, we will continue to book here whenever we fly in to Ontario airport. In addition to providing efficient and professional customer service, the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The car was clean and well-maintained. Rental cost was considerably cheaper than the on Airport location. I will definitely recommend the staff to my family and friends. Very pleased with the complimentary drop-off service back to the airport after returning the car.I booked at this agency thinking it was on Airport. However, It’s only 2 miles away and once we got there, the level of customer service and friendliness of the staff was totally worth the minor inconvenience. One customer arrived after us and said that it was a $15 cab ride including tip from the airport.

I did not like it at all. It was a fiasco. The staff seemed to be helpful, but then again they were not. I rented a car at the Ontario airport, or so I thought, because that was the location I put in my search, and that is the location that came up. It turned out that the actual rental lot was some 2+ miles from the airport rental location, with NO shuttle bus service. The lady at Ontario was able to assign me a car out of the airport lot, but told me that she could not modify the return location. I would have to return the car to the Jurupa location, or I pay another $70 something dollars. Once I dropped the car at the Jurupa lot, I would then have to hire a taxi or another cab to get to the airport itself, since there is no public transportation or shuttle between the two places--so why did I not just pay for the $70 difference? the lady told me at the counter. After I picked up a car at the airport, I drove to the Jurupa street lot, talked to the other staff person there, he typed something in the computer and said that he had modified my reservation: I could return the car to the airport lot, and told me that my fee was waived. But that was not so. When I returned the car to the airport lot today, there was no trace of the change of reservation and no waiving of the fees.The first car I was assigned had only half the plate--the other half was broken off--and the front seat was stuck in the most forward position, so the passenger's legs would not fit. The second car--an intermediate--was just passable, had 50,000 miles on it, and no floormats.
