Got a good deal on the price.Annoyed that the customer representative wouldn't change the fuel level on the document. Said that the car has sensor and the computer would pick up the fuel amount. I doubted what he said so I took a picture of the fuel gauge at the beginning of the rental. Upon return of the vehicle they tried to charge me 77 bucks for refuel fee. Luckily I showed them the picture I took before so they cancelled the charge. Didn't know if the guy was trying to screw with me or what.

I showed up to the designated location to pick up my reserved rental car and found the branch closed. I had confirmed my reservation the day before. Other customers were showing up as well to drop off their vehicles but the building was locked. When calling Alamo's main customer support line, I was placed on hold for more than 30 minutes. The representative that helped us could not provide us with an answer as to why the location was closed. They did not offer any solutions other than to drive to a different location which would take us an additional 45 minutes to arrive.Customer service on all levels. There are no guarantees with this company even when you have a confirmation number. I highly recommend using an alternative car rental company.

I liked nothing. This location was closed due to Covid 19, but on the website still allowed you to book rentals! We calling to verify and confirm only an automatic service was available. When we got to the office there was a note saying go to a different sister station to get rental services.Any changes should be notified to customers right away!

Nothing, terrible experience. The Alamo rental business itself was CLOSED. I was able to rent and reserve a car, but upon arrival to the location the place was closed. This is unacceptable. I even called Alamo customer service and they confirmed the reservation and address, and said it was open on their end of information....but the place was not open for business nor were they answering their phones.Your company needs to check (especially with variable business hours/operation these days) to see if the rental companies themselves are OPEN before allowing customers to make reservations. In the end, I was left without a rental car and late for my trip. I had to find another rental car location to emergently book a car. Your company needs to filter business and not allow this happen to other customers because it was a big hassle.

The wind shield cracked all the way across the front windshield. We were not able to exchange this for 4 days. It was a safety hazard. Alamo said a rep would contact me and that never happened. When we did exchange we had to pay an up charge.

They could not take my debit card, so I could not do business with them. I found another car rental place.

Drop-off was incredibly easy, and the car was great. Clean interior and excellent gas mileage.The gentleman who helped us at the pickup needs some improvement. When we arrived there were two customers ahead of us, and two other customers came in after us. It took him 10-15 minutes per customer (including us) to get things checked out. We waited for over 30 minutes to get to the counter to pick up the car (which, although it was reserved, had been given to someone else, apparently), and then it took another 10-15 for him to finish. He was able to get us another car and at a great price, but he talks WAY too much. I totally understand that being friendly is a big part of business and the customer experience, but he went on and on, tangent after tangent, with each customer, even though there were others waiting and it was clear some (including us) were in a hurry. It's more important to be respectful of the customers' time when you have that many people waiting than to chat it up incessantly with each of them.

They refused to offer a rental because I did not have a credit card. Left me in a jam and had to spend hours running around trying to find a car.Make the payment and security conditions a must read before confirming.

Friendly staffThe car had only 1/2 tank of gas, but they checked me out saying it was full. They did not give me any paperwork identifying me as a valid renter. Likewise, there was nothing confirming rate. When I returned the vehicle they initially charged me for fuel, even though I returned the car with more!
