Pros:The staff was helpful and friendly enough...pick up took a while but drop off was quick and easy (few customers probably due to coronavirus).Cons:If there were more prominent statements when we made the reservation online about MANDATORY liability insurance from CR government... and there would be a $950 damage deposit put on my credit card...this despite having purchased insurance covering any damage to vehicle when I made the reservation.Reviewed 25 Mar 2020

Pros:Car worked. That’s as much as I liked. The staff was horrible and the hidden fees aren’t brought up until you get to the counter.Cons:Being more honest with prices. Our total car rental turned out over double the quoted cost on kayak. There’s a mandatory liability fee which significantly increased the price of the car rental. This should be addressed online with the price of the car rental. There’s also a mandatory 13% airport tax which is not 13% of simply the car rental. This 13% includes the entire cost of the car rental and insurance. So absurd. Worst experience ever. Never renting from this company again. Fraud Business + Disregard For CustomersPros:Car was fine but not worth the surprise cost.Cons:This business is a total fraud. They advertise low daily rental costs but upon arriving inform you additional insurance is mandatory and the insurance was more than 4x the quoted total cost. They also rented me a GPS system that didn't work, but wouldn't provide me a refund. As far as I can see this business only cares about taking money.Reviewed 17 July 2017

Low tire pressure and spare tire rim was bentPros:Service was quick and shuttle from airport was speedy. Friendly enough.Cons:The front left tire was missing the cap and all of the tires had low pressure. We had a flat tire out of nowhere - changed the flat ourselves but the spare had a bent rim. Went to the service station and all tires needed air. We were leaving for airport in morning and I didn't want to drive all the way on the bent rim. I called and they offered to open the Jaco branch 30 min early so we would have time to make our flight and change out the tire. They ended up opening at 8 and I was rushed. Don't assume that they will perform regular maintenance or inspection. With insurance it was ~50 a day which is about the cheapest you can find for SUV.
