Room was quiet clean
Breakfast was poor tasting haggis was awful taste as was black pudding and potato scones also scrambled egg other than that was ok I could advise them on better quality local produce if they wish thanks
I have stayed here several times on busines and it is the perfect combination of location, comfort, welcome and value for money.
I did have trouble getting the shower warm but a call to reception brought someone to my door within one minute who sorted it so I have no complaints at all.
breakfast was fine, however only Scrambled egg available, how difficult to offer fried or Poached egg
one of my family was in room 427 and there was a dreadful smell coming up the drains ,when we informed staff, they were aware of this smell and put bleach down the drains, which helped, but only temporarily. price of drinks in hotel are extortionate.
The room was beautiful and spacious. The location was very convenient.
The bathroom could be cleaner, and we had problems with the faucet. My boyfriend and I also left with many itchy bug bites. I suspect it might be bedbugs. Although it's commendable that the hotel is going green, they should not neglect hygiene standards. Cleaning the sheets/room daily should be a given.
Very comfortable rooms , good air conditioning and excellent shower, staff excellent, friendly and helpful
Glass door in toilets and price of drinks In bar £5.80 for pint of beer, a massive £2 more than a wee pub minutes walk away , same with meal prices , would have eaten run hotel if prices were slightly lower
