Pros:
The staff at the counter was excellent, very helpful and friendly. The pickup process was quick and easy.Cons:
The car had some issues. It was unclean, with candy wrappers in the back seat and a chocolate stain on the upholstery. The windshield washer didn't work which was a problem due to all the dirt roads in this part of the country. There were also hidden fees everywhere for extra kilometers drive (limit is 200k per day, are you kidding me!!??!?) and a big extra fee to "prepare a document" to allow entry into chile (they just printed a customs form).9.2 Wonderful

The staff was very nice and friendly and showed us everything we needed to know.Cons:
The location of the car rental was a bit hard to find - there was a very small sign with "Alamo" on it. Adding a bigger sign would help a lot. Also adding a photo of the front of the rental place in Google maps.7.6 Good

Cons:
By the time we made it off our plane in El Calafate and got all our baggage, the company had given our rental away because we were an hour late. Nowhere on the rental agreement did it say that after an hour they would cancel our rental. Thankfully, we were not charged and were able to find a car somewhere else.Hertz

Pros:
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Midsize car was big enough for 5 people with 5 backpacking bags in the trunk. Driving to Chile was not a problem.Cons:
Car pick up took longer than expected (~45 min total) because there was only one employee. There was only one person ahead of us in line when we got there.4.4 Mediocre

I was told the car was new and to be v careful. When we got out I saw the car hasd two cracks in the windshield but was told not to worry about it and some minor scrapes in front and the back. Did not feel like a Hertz rental. Also the Chevy really was a piece of junk.2.0 Poor
