Car hire at Harare Airport

Car renters must be at least 21 years old to rent a car at Harare Airport. If you're a younger driver, that is between the ages of 21-24, the rental car agency might allow you to rent a car but could limit you to a particular car type such as an economy or compact car. You could also be charged a young driver's fee. Most car rental agencies require that you pay a security deposit with your car rental. Accepted payments for car rentals include major credit cards such as Visa or Mastercard. However, some car rental agencies will let you pay with a debit card or cash as long as you put the security deposit on a credit card.
