I won't use Hertz again unless it's my only option. Unknown charges, charged upgrade $15.00 per day because I was late picking it up and it was already paid for in full. $90.00 extra driver fee The maintenance obviously isn't a priority, we weren't even 20 miles away from picking it up and the change oil light came on. We drove a 1000 miles on it. Then the tire light signal let me know, I had 34 pounds of pressure in three tires, with the front passenger at 38.Reviewed 3 Oct 2026

If I could give an “it stunk” review, I would. When I got there, another person was there having card issues. Finally the woman told us she didn’t have any cars. I was stranded over 2,000 miles from home with no car! I haven’t been able to get a refund on my prepaid reservation, and I ended up spending over $100 for cab fares to get around since Hertz didn’t have a car for me. Needless to say, I am VERY UNHAPPY WITH HERTZ!Reviewed 30 June 2024
