Pros: Had a lovely family night away here , two lovely hosts Paul and Sarah who went the extra mile to make us feel at home . Breakfast out of this world . Rooms beautiful , clean and very cosy lots of tea and coffee and biscuits
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property itself is historic and has a lot of character. The rooms are cozy with wood panels in the ceiling. My bedroom and bathroom were decorated with some very pleasant seaside-themed artwork. The bedroom was very quiet at night and the bed super comfy. The shower/toilet was narrow and very cute, with the shower a very comfortable size with plenty of hot water. The bedroom too was well-heated and easy to manage. WiFi worked well in the bedroom even though it was separate from the main building. My bedroom, being a little separate, had a sense of privacy about it.

Pros: Excellent evening meal. Had such a choice for breakfast including multi choice of cereals / buffet hot food as well as toast. Small bottle of fresh orange of table as well as coffee/tea. Complimentary small bottle of wine and bottle of beer in room fridge, as well as small bottle of fresh milk instead of small cartons of UHT. Complimentary packed lunch to take after breakfast Fantastic overall value
Cons: Only criticism was that the bedrooms etc could do with a lick of paint here and there re scuff on wall. General spruce up but I’m being nick picky

Pros: Loved the free packed lunch and coffee by the fire after supper and welcome wine/beer, really nice touches. - and delicious supper too.

Excellent breakfast (lovely sausages!). We had an evening meal, the food was high quality and delicious. Complimentary drinks on arrival in the room. Complimentary packed lunch provided (nice touch). 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nothing to fault, very well looked after by the new owners who couldn’t do enough for us, especially as our dog was unwell causing sleepless nights and some unfortunate accident in the room. After a brief lesson how to get into our room via a dodgy lock, everything else was ideal. Breakfast was cooked to order and bar meals were excellent as was the beer! Would definitely stay there again - though might book under a different name and leave the dog with family!

7.1 Good
Pros: The bed was comfy and the room was clean and it was in a good location. With a little bit of effort and attention to repairs it would be great
Cons: The food leaves alot to be desired: The steak was the smallest i had ever set eyes on and was tough as an old boot. Even though I ordered medium rare. And the apple crumble was apples covered in what can only be described as dust. Also the potato skins were raw. Even when this was brought to the waitresses attention she shrugged her shoulders and couldn't care less didn't even apologise. We ate elsewhere for other meals. The room needs some sockets fitting as one is not enough oh and bring some torches as the bulbs that do work do not light up the room
