Aparthotel Stare Miasto is an all-apartments and suites hotel that is located in the heart of the Old Town area of Krakow. The unique design inside all of the units gives these accommodations a stand-out feel and will make guests feel like they’re at home.

The building was built in the 17th century and has 18 units housed within it. There are elements like exposed brick, wood accents, tile, high ceilings, and large windows covered in dramatic floor-to-ceiling drapes. The units can be chosen in different sizes ranging from studios with kitchenettes to full two-room apartments. There are units with jetted tubs, as well as, units that have views of the city.

There is a café attached to the hotel. Breakfast is served every morning for a charge. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is full of many cafes and restaurants that can be easily walked to. Old Town Restaurant and Wine Bar is an excellent choice for families. Starka Restaurant is close, as is a French restaurant called Cyrano de Bergerac. Meals can be cooked in the rooms also.

Wawel Castle is within walking distance of Aparthotel Stare Miasto. There is great shopping close by at Galeria Krakowska Shopping Centre. Right next to the shopping center there is also a railway station for those who want to venture a little further away. The Main Market Square is steps away. Guests can also walk to St. Mary’s Basilica, Dragon’s Den, and the National Museum.

Cons (-) Very small rooms and not at all like the photos on their or 3rd party websites. The rooms were not properly cleaned and 1 night I found a spider in my bed! Floors were not swept and felt very sandy. We left early although we had paid for a longer stay coz we just did not want to be there any more.
