Positives: clean car, no fuss at pick up or drop off. Negatives: The car had an unusable rear view mirror; the mount was broken and unable to hold the rear view mirror at the angle I set it to. Also had to queue for almost 1h at pickup

Renting from Top Car was seamless. Easy check out, easy return. Car was clean, well maintained but a little smaller than I expected. Also, when I thought my arrival would be after hours they were helpful by offering to stay late and wait for my flight to arrive (30euro fee) this would save me a hassle and a taxi fare that would be well over the nominal fee.

Don’t ever hire with Goldcar - I was given a car with significant pre-existing damage to the bodywork throughout. Despite spending 20 minutes with the rep when I collected the car and recording it, when I returned the car the assistant carried out a full inspection and said there were zero problems and everything was settled. He asked me to sign the end of contract form and said he would email me a copy. We left to catch our flight and when I checked my email I was provided with a bill for over €100 for a scratch that was already there and I had shown to the agent at initial collection. This company is so deceitful - I wasn’t given the opportunity to contest as we had already gone through security and had been led to believe that the account was settled at drop off. I have photographic and video evidence of the car on collection showing the scratch they claimed I caused was already present. I would recommend avoiding this company unless you want a nasty surprise after your return

When I booked a car online, I couldn't specify the exact time of pick-up, so the pick-up time was set at 12:00. I arrived at the OK Mobility office at Gran Canaria Airport at 18:00. The unfriendly lady behind the counter first scolded me for not coming earlier, then said that I would have to pay a "rebooking fee" and that since my car had been given to someone else, I would have to take a bigger car. The fact is, I will never rent a car from this company again.
