Cons: Echoey building, meant was quite noisy from fellow stayers at the guest house and street outside, could hear everything even with windows closed. Also requested 2 single beds but got 1 double and staying with my dad resulted in sleeping on the sofa.

Cons: Rooms noise isolation is not very great, you can hear a lot others (water, walking, talking, coffee machine). So if this is an issue for you (not much for me) you should be aware of it.

Cons: Found the price for the breakfast rather expensive at €35.00 per day for x 2 pax. Ours was included in the suite but our guests who had Doubles had the option to pay. There is a perfectly good Cafè 100 yards away that did breakfasts/Pastries/goodies from €3.00 !!! Also sorry to be negative, I ordered a transfer one way from airport to hotel through the hotel which was €70.00 - and when we went back after our long weekend it was €12 in an Uber, so slightly stung. But Hey Ho, there was a Chauffeur with a nice laptop at the waiting point when we arrived off the plane. They also do a FREE shuttle if you are lucky enough to use it, sadly we were in the wrong place or wrong time, so just missed it etc, but not a big deal, nice that they offer it to be fair.

Cons: I ended up at the Altis after a very long day of travel and a disastrous Airbnb experience left me and my friends without a place to stay. Desperate, we found the Altis on Kayak with a 5-star rating and were willing to put a little extra money in given how nice the place looked in the app. Unfortunately, this ended up being a terrible experience. The staff was extremely slow and unhelpful, making us wait a very long time to get to our rooms after a very long day. Moreover, the rooms bore absolutely no resemblance to the photos we saw on the app - they were outdated, dingy, and dirty. There were hairs in our showers, and the floors were stained. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The wifi didn't work, coming in and out every few minutes. In fact, we ended our stay early given how bad the conditions were - though it took ages to do so at reception. There is no way this hotel is 5 stars and it should not be advertised as such. Personally, I would like for the hotel to compensate me in some way for such a misleading and poor experience.

Cons: The bathroom was too small for 2 people. The mattress had to be turned or replaced( not sure which one) because it had dips on both sides.
The restaurant was over priced. The one dinner we had was very good and the presentation was beautiful, however, for 2 vodka tonics with absolute vodka cost 34 euro and the lobster salad, while beautifully presented, was 19 euro for 2 small claws and some greens.

Cons: Service in bar could be hard to get, sometimes waiting for 10-15 minutes to be acknowledged. I think this is due to both low staffing and lay out. If the staff doesn't look around you won't be seen due to pillars and nooks.

We would have liked to have our dinner at the hotel, but the internal restaurants (2) were completely empty and a bit .. desolated, so we had to go out for dinner. this is the only little drop I want to remark, even if this point did not affected at all our perfect staying at Dom Pedro.

The breakfast or staff were not accommodating to gluten free. They had bread for me two days but said they were out the other 3 days and did little to help with other options. They also had little options for vegetarians or vegans. The options were just meat meat and meat! No Salmon or avocado but a few tomatoes and cucumber.

Cons: This hotel had a worn out, grungy feel to it. In the bathroom, instead of toiletries, there was a note saying you could ask the desk for anything you need. The carpet in the hallways was ancient and grungy. Nothing felt especially clean.

Cons: The overall condition of the hotel was poor, quite dirty and the rooms (we asked for a change) were quite "beaten up". The carpets were stained, dust everywhere and the bathrooms need a good cleaning with new caulking in around the shower.The staff we found to have "low moral" which may be a direct result from poor management. Which is quite disappointing as some were quite nice. It just seems like the owners of the hotel (who ever they may be) have given up in terms of the basics. Not a 5 star by all means; this hotel needs a big wake up!

Pros: The breakfast was nice and there was a good choice.
Cons: The pillows were very small and thin. Only one on each side of bed and there was one spare in the wardrobe.

Pros: the location was good but not exceptional
Cons: the heater was not working and it was very cold. I called the staff many times to fix it, but they didn't send somebody to fix the heater. So I asked them to give us another room, but they told me that there is no room available. And we spent 4 days, and they didn't fix the heater.

Pros: Staff are very polite, always there to help us. The hotel was in a great location , only 5 minute walk to metro. Lots of cafes around.
Cons: Corridors could do with some lighting as they were slightly dark.

Pros: I like how clean it was, and the location was very good.
Cons: The staff should be more approachable, and not answering in the rude manner.

Pros: Location is fine. Metro is around the corner or a lovely walk down tree lined avenues to the centro
Cons: The hotel is tired looking and in need of a refit.
