This hostel is infested with bed bugs and spiders. Its a shame because when i arrived it seemed like a nice place but looks can be decieving. Staff dont seem to care much at all either.
Extremely poor hygiene and cleanliness.
Check-in was easy, staff was nice. they allowed me to store my bag before check-in opened so I could see the city. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I only stayed one night and think it was perfect for that.
The breakfast was severely lacking. Only toast, some bland cereals, and your instant coffee/tea. A bit more invested into it could make for a great breakfast. Hostel was also a fair bit away from the city center but still within reasonable walking distance.
Close distance to London Eye
There were no warm water in the bathroom next to my room, so i needed to use the one which was quite far. The room was without the window and very small, it was difficult to store the luggages inside. We needed tk sleep with tge doors open because it was so hot inside.
It was in a relatively good location. The WiFi was good, and the continental breakfast in the AM was good. The main lounge was decent.
The floors were so dirty in my room that when I picked up my bag it was filled with dust. Makes me think they had not been cleaned in a while. The hall and stairs upstairs were just down right scary. But the worst is that my friend who I traveled with got bed bugs pretty severely.
I'd never used a hostel before and on this showing I won't be doing it again. Grubby, overcrowded and seemingly low on washing and toilet facilities.
Fewer residents per room would help and more space for washing, showering etc.
