Horrible. Bait and switch. Needed to change drop off location due to flight change and they were 100% unwilling to work with me whatsoever. And tried to charge me an additional $500 to change the location by 15 miles. Ridiculous. Never. Never. Never. Again.

While booking, there were 2 managers specials advertised for this location. One that was for a fully electric car, and one that said determined at pickup. I knew an electric car wouldn’t work for the distance I needed to travel, so I selected the option that didn’t state fully electric. However, when I arrived they told me that the manager’s specials were only electric and that there were no gas vehicles available at the rate I had booked, and it was $25 more per day plus taxes and fees to get the only gas vehicle they had available. If it had been stated more clearly at booking that all of the manager’s specials could be fully electric, I would have made a different decision at the time of booking. Otherwise though, the staff was friendly.

The rental location closed at midday but we weren’t informed of this when booking. As a result we couldn’t pick up our car. The Budget location at Sacramento airport wouldn’t honour our booking either se we had to cancel and use another company.

It was the worst experience ever. When reached there for the SUV that I booked, they did not have the SUV. They told us to wait till afternoon so that they may arrange it. But to our disappointment, they were never able to find it and constantly told me that I can use two Sedan rather than an 8 seater SUV. They ruined our trip and had to cancel hotel bookings. I would suggest always talk to the enterprise directly before booking but still there would be any guarantee that you would be able to rent a car. I would always prefer other options like touro

Everything was fantastic, smooth and comfortable! Renting through Kayak was easy. Picking up the rental easy and everyone was kind, patient, and professional. The rental wassuper nice! I definitely recommend the Kia Soul! It was a smooth ride up and down the mountains! Then, dropping of the car went just as well as picking it up! Everyone was so nice! Thank you!

Pros:

It was a bit busy, but staff worked fast to try and get everyone out. So customer service was okay. I liked that they were working to serve everyone.

Cons:

Cars need to be cleaned between customers. If I did not need the car for only a few hours and I didn't already spend 45 minutes checking the car out, I would not have accepted that car. "Enhanced cleaning" had a lot of dead bugs all over the front of the car and dirt and rocks in the truck bed. Like lots of dirt and rocks. Enterprise does not care for repeat customers.

The cleanliness of the car was disgusting!!! I had to be given another car which was much better than the first car. The return of the car was ridiculous as there were no place to return it other than on the streets. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The only thing that was right was the assistant manager Ryan K. he was kind and really did a good job in making me the customer satisfied. His customer service and his alone was excellent!! He needs a bonus, you should hire more people like him who are willing to keep customers happy.

Car, SUV, was fine and addressed our needs. We were disappointed in the lack of flexibility at customer service. We asked for a 3-4 hour extension to drop off so we didn't have to drive all day and into the night. They said any extension is charged at a full 24 hour rate even 5 minutes. Representative said he had no discretion on charge. We ended up just making drop off deadline but didn't have time to stop for gas. They charged $9.90 per gallon! Outrageous! I live in Tennessee and pay between $2.50 and $3.00 per gallon. If all rental companies do this, I will never rent for pleasure. I often rent in Europe and they are much more flexible in their rules and policies. I am an Avis Preferred member, but I did not feel preferred at Avis.
