Mumbai hotels near General Post Office

Pros: They somehow managed to make my wife and I feel like the only guests in the hotel. It seemed like there was nothing they couldn't to for us. The concierge brought someone in to set us up with SIM cards, tied up the loose ends in our travel booking with another Oberoi hotel, arranged for a car to take us to the airport set up a tour of Mumbai, as, well as a private cooking lesson with one of the chefs at one of the 3 restaurants on site. They also sent flowers up for my wife just because. It was such a wonderful experience that it's difficult to sum up. Bottom line, ignore any other option, or deal, or what-have-you. You will not find a more incredible experience anywhere.

Pros: It's the taj. It's lovely and our room was freshly redone since last year. It's way too expensive for what you get, but where else would you stay in Mumbai? Breakfast buffet was always amazing in the past, this stay we were super disappointed. Milk was UHT from a box, selection was limited, took ages to get water refilled.

Pros: Great location with extremely courteous staff, exactly what you'd expect of a Taj hotel. Simply the best hotel chain in the world, so it's very hard to go wrong with Taj. The breakfast buffet, included in the room price, is one of the best!

Pros: Everything about the hotel was excellent. The staff were very couteous and caring. The restaurants were of high quality and service great. The ambience in the hotel and its restaurants were fantastic! Room service was also fantastic.

Pros: I was amazed at this Holiday Inn! The hotel and the property are incredible, unlike any other Holiday Inn that I've seen. Usually, these properties are a budget to mid range level, but this particular location is top notch. It has a rooftop infinity pool, a great boutique spa, and the rooms are really spacious with a rain shower. The staff was also really helpful and soo polite. Rehan, one of the IT guys, helped me out numerous times in one day to help me get my devices connected to the wifi. He was very helpful, courteous, and patient. I would highly recommend staying here if you have a long layover in Mumbai and want to stay someplace close to the airport. I missed my connecting flight and this is how I ended up staying here. The hotel also has a complimentary car to take you back to the airport. Excellent value for the price!

Pros: I loved the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the stay and that they catered to our unusual requests. Absolutely loved the breakfast.
