Barato pero mal servicio
Pros: Nada más llegar tuvimos que esperar mucho, sobretodo porque lo hacen todo de forma manual, los ordenadores están de adorno.
Cons: El deposito no estaba lleno y no tenía ni USB ni bluetooth. MUY BÁSICO.

Cons: Garbage customer service. Would not let us pick up the car 1 hour early because our flight was early.
Cons: Waiting time for picking up the car
The car was not great
Pros: I liked the staff at Hertz very attentive and explained everything.
Cons: The price changed based on booking. It was supposed to be 86 euro and ended up to be 228 because of insurance. I chose insurance on the booking and the agent said i didnt. so seemed weird. I was too tired to argue. The car had a bad clutch and really going go up hill with out a running start. again i was too far and too tired to argue. I just dealt with it. Typically this is why i dont like renting like this. but when they have you over a barrel.

Cons: I was never able to pick up the car due to the car station did not accept my credit card. The car rental should explain prior to the reservation the credit card that tey accept, so that the costumer could make a proper selection. Therefore, dont waste time and money!!!!

Cons: The Hertz experience for us was not good. We arrived just before our scheduled pick up time of 9:00AM and waited 2 hours for our car. There wasn't a line or anything. We were told that they had to get the car from the airport to this Hertz location, however the airport is only 15 minutes from our Hertz location. Additionally, we signed up for a Fiat Panda but the only car Hertz had was almost the size of a mini van - not the car we wanted to be driving through the narrow Positano roads in. Overall, I do not recommend this Hertz location due to the wait time and the car we received. Also, there is a $360 pending charge on my credit card which should absolutely not be the case. We better not be charged more than what we signed up to pay for getting a bigger car because we absolutely did not want a bigger car.

Pros: The car was great, clean, full of gas and perfect size for our trip.
Cons: After getting off a 9 hour flight we had to wait an hour and a half in line to pick up the car. And after we picked it up we then had to wait anther15 min in line to have them sign the sheet saying there was a lot more damage then recored on the vehicle.

Not up to Hertz Standard - possibly worst assetts
Pros: The price was ok.
Cons: First, the cars Hertz has at this location seemed abused, old and dirty. All cars were filthy. Seems they buy used old cars for their fleet. The shuttle was filthy, smelly and vents pumping stinky air on passengers.

Not what I expected
Cons: Firstly, I had wrote in to say I'd prefer a Mercedes or anything except for an alfa romeo and what I got in the end was an alfa. Also, I wasn't informed that I needed 2 credit cards for deposit ; one visa and one mastercard which I did not prepare beforehand which resulted in so much trouble and delay when I picked up the car at almost 12am. Utterly disappointed.
Terrible Service / No Lost and Found
Pros: The people did a quick check on the vehicle and processed the return quickly.
Cons: We left a very important item (an heirloom glass jar filled with sand) in the center console of the vehicle and when we called the drop-off location they were very rude about helping us find the item. Then we called back and they still were not helpful. It seems they did not look through the vehicle thoroughly and we have still not been able to recover the item.

Cons: En primer lugar, había escrito para decir que preferiría un Mercedes o cualquier cosa excepto un alfa romeo y lo que obtuve al final fue una alfa. Además, no me informaron de que necesitaba 2 tarjetas de crédito para el depósito; una visa y una mastercard que no me preparé de antemano, lo que resultó en tantos problemas y retrasos cuando cogí el coche en casi 12am. Totalmente decepcionado.
Terrible Servicio / No Perdidos Y Encontrados
Pros: La gente hizo una comprobación rápida en el vehículo y procesó la vuelta rápidamente.
Cons: Dejamos un elemento muy importante (un tarro de cristal de techo de liebre lleno de arena) en la consola central del vehículo y cuando llamamos a la ubicación de regreso fueron muy groseros en ayudarnos a encontrar el artículo. Luego llamamos y todavía no fueron útiles. Parece que no miraron a través del vehículo a fondo y todavía no hemos podido recuperar el artículo.

Cons: Let's be clear the car, a Fiat, was an outstanding auto, but---
How this company gets away with its level of customer service is stunning...to start the up-selling at time of pick-up, no matter how friendly, is manipulative & simply a money grab; but then---we had a terrifying incident where we forced into a wall by an oncoming motorcycle who appeared to do it on purpose; car was scraped & dented; repeated phone calls to Europcar went to voice mail with NO response to messages; repeated emails were ignored except 2 weeks later we got their standard "difficult question, need time to answer" response, which they always eventually send no matter the question; [I'm still waiting for a response to one I sent in January!!]......of course there was no one in the office to talk with when we dropped the car off in Florence, but I think they will blame that on our "early" flight time, 9:55am...and today we got the bill: after renting the car for a month for 221 euros plus liability insurance, [plus other difficult-to-understand charges], our final bill is 1708 euros...it is going to take longer than our vacation lasted just to figure out the bill!!

Cons: Being charged 300€ + 90€ processing fee?! For a 2cm scratch the car had a much bigger scratch when we picked it up and the door would not close properly. So Europcar is not spending the funds it receives to repair their vehicles. And a clearly arbitrary system of damage fees.
