Located in 15th Arrondissement, this hotel is within 1 mi (2 km) of Statue of Liberty - Paris and Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Pros: Location is the only thing it positively offered.Cons: Upon early arrival they rudely demanded, in their broken English, the full payment of 8 days. A practice more used at a boarding house. We were only allowed one key that made planning difficult for the three of us.
The hotel was one of the cheapest i an area that was close to the Eiffel Tower. There also a couple nice restaurants nearby like Cafe Du Commerce. So overall I couldn't complain even though I was stuck in an attic room.Pros: Location and priceCons: I was placed into a room that was in the attic so the ceiling slanted down. This gave the illusion that the room was much smaller since we couldn't use an entire side
The hotel in general was pleasant. Conveniently located. Good place for the three S's. Shower, shave, and the other :) Our room was on the third floor which meant you had to climb the very narrow stairs....close to 58 stairs. No lift. My grandparents (79 years old) went on this trip with us and they didn't struggle with the stairs but they didnt look forward to having to go up or down them upon leaving and returning to the hotel. If you choose this hotel make sure you get a room on the 1st or 2nd floor. The third floor rooms are the attic. They are small and tight and have the slanted ceilings and an attic window that does open with structural beams running through it. The 1 staff member, who I am assuming is the owner, was very nice and accommodating. He arranged our pick up from the hotel to Charles De Gaul. All though we did not eat at the attached restaurant the food looked really good...Tanjines and Couscous. Check in and out was very easy and the beds were comfortable. All in all I would stay there again if I needed to but honestly for the price we paid you could get a better hotel closer to down town and probably a little cleaner.Pros: The location of the hotel was fantastic. It was a block away from a metro terminal and was an easy two stops to the heart of Paris. There were plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from with a wide range from Subway to Mediterranean.Cons: Our room was not very clean. No ventilation in the bathrooms, they smelled of mold and mildew.
