Very easy flight and check in. I had no luggage so that made it even easier.
Food was okay but nice to have a small snack in between the 2 meals; felt a bit hungry from Washington Dulles flight to Beijing.
The problem is the time Air China to make the connection flight. It only allows one and half hour from the flight from Hong Kong to Beijing and the latter to Washington Dulles. When the plane touched down in Beijing, it took over half an hour just to taxi to the gate. I have to run literally from the gate to the immigration and to TSA. I had also cut the line to get to the front so I don't missed the connecting flight. There were people screamed and yelled about our action (I Have 2 other couples under the same situation and don't want to miss their flight). But I finally made the security understand that we were told by Air China (with the red Air China round sticker) that we should cut the line to get to our plane. This is second time happened to me and Air China won't wait to close its gate when departure time arrives. I am not sure what will happen if I miss the connection. I stranded one night in Beijing with Continental couple years ago because of typhoon and was told the airline is not required to do anything for you because of weather related. But the connection issue needs to be addressed as I am sure some of my fellow passengers had missed their connecting flight yesterday. For now, I will stay away from Beijing connection ( ie no more Air China) until the latter makes some realistic adjustment to its connecting schedule. This is not difficult but they need to be aware and lessen stress to its customers. Beijing airport authority needs better facility with properly trained personnel to facilitate the transfer process. I had used Tokyo and Seoul with so much ease. Beijing needs to get up

There was a medical emergency on board, so bathrooms did not get the necessary attention. Had to ask for toilet paper for two different bathrooms. Transferring to this flight as a NIGHTMARE. The boarding gate was a long way from the arrival gate. Went through an endless maze. Went through two security check points. At both check points I was sent for pat down. At the first there were five other women who were waiting for pat down. All white women. Discrimination???? At the second security, I had not even passed through the detector and the officer was waving me to get a pat down. At that point I started laughing. Next automated preclearance for immigration, then had to wait in line to talk to immigration officer. It is a miracle that I made it to the flight on time. Passport and boarding pass checked minimum of 6 times in this process. On arrival in Los Angeles, there was a bus ride to the terminal for luggage pick up. My husband was at the terminal I normally come to, I had no way to contact him (Indian sim), no change for pay phone. A fellow passenger was merciful and let me use her phone send husband messages and eventually we met up. I would not use Eithad for India to USA for this reason only. The security and immigration preclearance sucks.

Did not transfer our suitcases on-time to the connecting flight, and we had to go back to the destination airport the next day! Crew during the long flight from LA to London never, not even once, brought beverages or water in between meals! They made sure to do minimum that is necessary! That's a shame BA I flew with United few months back from Washington to Munich and crew were amazing and went above and beyond to serve passengers

This flight was also delayed twice. Once because the pilot was sick and again for weather. We sat on the tarmac for an hour. No food or drinks were served.

20 minutes "to reposition the gate to make it safer for exitong the airplane" - sounds like nonsense to me. No meal - and that really is nonsense.

I liked the crew on the flight.
I was frustrated with the staff at the desk in the airport, as we boarded 20miutes late and they did not feel it necessary to give any comment on the situation. Everyone was puzzled as to why we were not boarding, or if there was a problem. Even the screens did not show any change.

We landed so close to our boarding time, by the time i got through everything, i was notified that i had to go to gate 11 for a special security check...it was stressful since my flight was boarding...i found it really frustrating . Ultimately the plane waited and it worked out, but the process was long and VERY stressful.

We had to pay $200 for luggage for over 23kg but under 32kg, usually other airlines let us travel with sports gear for free under 32kg.

Dinner was tasteless and my cup of tea was bitter, too strong and a bit cold The cup of tea slid off the slippery, sloped table right into my lap, over my mobile phone and into my bag below. The staff didn’t seem to care. They admitted this happened a fair bit.

I had never heard of Qatar Airways before I booked a 24hr flight to and from Sydney, Australia. I only did this on the suggestion from a friend that stated Qatar Airways was "alright". So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips.
Other rude or snotty passengers taking up the crews time and attention for no reason. But as I stated in the "positive" side of this review, the crew handled these impolite individuals with a smile and polite attitude. Kudos to Qatar Airways.
Choice of flight from Utapao really was a no brainer. 45 minutes from home to departure lounge, had I flown from Bangkok I would still have been on the motorway! Everything went like a dream, a huge thank you to all at Qatar Airways, a true quality service.
Good food and good hospitality
I appreciated the friendly and always service minded staff. The plane was clean and I enjoyed good leg room. I was happy with the menus and the film selection was entertaining and current. All over a great experience and I would not hesitate to choose Qatar again.

The 7 hour delay was unacceptable and we were not happy with the lack of customer service with Justlfy! I will never use them again to make any airline reservations.

I don't remember much about this plane. It was nice to get food service for such a short flight. I believe we had the two seats to ourselves, and they were comfortable.
We love the space in the seats on the new Airbus 380. It is so spacious, and the seats are very comfortable. The movie selection was pretty good.
if I remember correctly the screen size was a little small for a new plane. Also I asked for two alcohol drinks, but was told only one may be served. I only asked so I wouldn't have to get up during my movie, and on Air New Zealand, they freely offer more than one drink. Also, if I remember correctly the arm rests did not raise all the way. We had all three seats to ourselves, and it would have been nice to lift the armrests all the way up so we could stretch out properly.

I was delayed by a connecting flight and there was no way to pre-check, notify the airline or get ahold of anyone to let this be known in advance. I tried customer service for airline, for travel agent etc. no way to get ahold of anyone. Thought I was there at the time of boarding, they would not let me board, because I was not within their 1 hour check in time so I missed the flight. Since connections to Korea are only once per day, I was delayed a full 24 hours and endured several more hardships that could have been easily avoided with some good customer service. Also, it was stifling hot inside the aircraft and the crew could not seem to help cool it off despite twice asking them to get me some air-flow.

On the flight home we were told to wait till our transfer to upgrade and that was denied and said we needed to do it prior. I am beyond disappointed and will never fly with Air China again and the only recourse that was given was from the nice people in Japan that explained this happens all the time and provided a voucher for less than 100 US dollars. I will advise anyone in the future not to fly this airline and I would like this to be investigated.

Check in was ok at Delhi airport but the person on desk was new for his job as I could experienced.
Wheel chair was requested at Shanghai Pudong Airport but it was not provided even after at gate .They sa8d its not available. i had to walk down. I had to remind them for Asian vegetarian meal. Zip lock tag strip was not placed on my suit case .

Charging for devices at the seat, not too cramped.
Out of DC, they weighed every carryon item both at check in and at the gate. I couldn’t fill my water bottle before boarding or I would have been overweight... I’ve never had an airline be so picky. And then they lost one of my bags - ironic given the precision about baggage weight.
