Pros: The breakfast was great and we loved it coming to our room. Keith was friendly and a great host. We spent most of our stay at Custer State Park and the Mt. Rushmore, so your location was great. We'll be back.. Toni

Pros: Great location and host! Right along the road leading to Mt. Rushmore. Super easy to access via I-90 (with a nice glimpse of downtown Rapid City along the way. Host, Monty, is very friendly, engaging, and great in the grill! Breakfast is located next door at the restaurant, not traditional in the house, but you get whatever you want from the menu so can’t beat it. The rates were great, despite a super busy week everywhere else and, unfortunately, super jacked up rates. Monty kept his reasonable. We’ll be back!

Pros: The owners were happy to meet us after hours when we checked in late. They showed us to our room and were extremely friendly. The breakfast was great and all of the workers were very nice. The room was amazing and extremely clean. This is a great place!

Pros: Very nice place, breakfasts were great, next time I would request a room on the ground floor because the steps were a little hard carrying are bags. Would recommend this place to are friends and will come back again

Cons: The whole place was a little run down. There were a ton of flies in the restaurant.

Pros: The location was great. Food at breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: The room was comfortable but a king size bed and larger shower would make it so much nicer. Décor is outdated. I had to go next door to the restaurant to check in and they were busy and wait time was about 15 minutes. Then was escorted to room and the person could not get the room open and had to call someone to get us in. TV had no local channels and when I tried to find one, I got the service off and when I called to get fixed got answering machine. I left a message to fix the tv while I was gone for the day, but never happened.

Cons: Decor just a little dated, but the beds were comfortable so no complaints.

Cons: This isn't a traditional B & B, with the owners being the people who help with breakfast and registration. Registration and breakfast are through a bar located adjacent to the building with rooms. It worked, but is different.

Cons: Bathroom very small, in order to close the door you had to get behind it. In Ducks Unlimited room the sink is outside of bathroom in main sleeping area, (which is fine), but no shelf or counter area to place toiletries, etc. Had to move a small table from under TV to accommodate. No "real" dressers to place items in or on. If we were ever to go back, we would not select this room

Cons: Everything about this place is grossly overrated. The photos of the property are photo shopped, the first line of the description states a hot tub is available for guest relaxation, total lie! There is (One!) Compact refrigerator available for all guest to (share). The room I had is a joke for $160.00 per night, I have a larger walk in closet at home. The restuarant staff was very rude and demanding. Staff did not seem very personable at all. A bed and breakfast should feel like your home away from home. This is a cosmetic place ready to fall apart. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I would rate this a 1 out of 10.
