Cons: Wish there is a microwave on a floor but I guess it is not common in Singapore.

Cons: We were happy

Cons: Courtyard rooms not as good.

Cons: Check-in and check-out is always slow.

Cons: Overall is excellent experience for staying at pan pacific

Cons: No local amenity for GHA plat

Cons: Only complaint I have is that the temperature in the lobby bar is too cold to enjoy the wonderful ambiance that exists in that venue.

Cons: Lighting controls in the room looked impressive at first glance, but were actually not very practical in real-world use. Temperature in both the (mens') sauna and steam room was completely inadequate (cold). When I flagged this to the spa receptionist she said this was they were both set at the maximum temperature allowed. If this is the case then either the maximum temperature allowed is too cold, of the facilities were not working correctly - I suspect the latter.

Cons: Wish we could have stayed longer!

Cons: Too many "sorry" replies instead of solutions for numerous issues encountered during the stay. 5 star hotel brand delivering to 3- or 4- star service levels. I rave about the Fairmont Vancouver airport; Singapore Fairmont doesn't come close to meeting the perceived brand value.

Cons: Too much air freshener in the lobby, $54 buffet breakfast and not as close as suggested to the shopping on Orchard road.

Cons: The WIFI’s Internet access. It’s spotty, to say the least, and THAT, to me, makes an enormous difference. Even in the Executive Lounge on the 23rd floor, half the room, to the left of elevators and in the conference room ... excellent ... the other half ... forget it, had to use Singtel. Same in Prego, the Italian Restaurant on the ground floor (if you like black truffles, by the way, now they have a special truffle menu!).

Cons: Small rooms. Cold windy pool.

Cons: We only had two items that weren’t so hot. First, as everyone else says, the rooms are TINY. How small is tiny? Perhaps 10 ft x 10 ft with a Queen bed in the middle. Tiny. Two slender people cannot pass each other without touching, possibly cannot pass each other at all if you’re carrying any weight. TINY. That said, the bathroom feels luxuriously large by comparison! The second negative was that any hote so big and so full will naturally have a lot of people moving around at any given time. That means the lobby is always full, the elevators are always full, the dining room is always full...definitely worth eating at non-standard hours to avoid the rush.

Cons: The room should be larger little bit more.

Cons: Maintenance work should take place at odd hours

Cons: Everything else. Too pricey for what it is. Rooms feels and look old. 3stars most in my book.

Cons: 1. Badly-managed ground floor reception and registration. We arrived at the ground floor lobby and lined up with a number of other people. Only to be told by the young executive who finally served us -- rudely & impatiently -- that this registration counter was only for corporate bookings and we should go up to the 5th floor for all other bookings. If you intend to segregate and discriminate bookings, then perhaps some clear signage and wayfinding would help? Perhaps recognising that he had been rather rude, the young man then said he would register us anyway. He couldn't find our booking, asked to see the confirmation email, and then couldn't seem to wait the one minute it took me to call it up on my phone. 2. Poor manners at the 5th floor reception We came back at 1.30 pm and went straight up to the 5th floor reception, as instructed, to collect our keys. Chaos as there were many waiting to check-in. I lined up at what I thought was the concierge counter to ask what I needed to do if I was simply looking to collect keys rather than do a full check-in, and was barked at by another impatient man at the [unlabelled] counter to the side of me. Thank goodness for an older gentleman, Mr Suhaimi, who stepped forward to answer my simple question, promptly issued the keys, and assured us that our bags would be in our room, which it was. Kudos to Mr Suhaimi for being so well-mannered in a sea of rude Mandarin employees. 3. Went to our room. The shower cubicle had ugly black electrical tape all around the bottom, presumably to stop some sort of leak. Cheap toiletries. Old, tired fittings that haven't been updated since the late 1990s. Flat, overused pillows. 4. Breakfast the next morning at Chatterbox was dismal. Overcooked noodles, cheap butter, tasteless eggs. And a very small selection of food items that couldn't be called a buffet. 5. Rude service again at check-out, even though we had nothing to pay for and it was a straightforward sign-out. Doesn't anyone ever smile at this hotel? All in all, not worth the price, and certainly not worth our patronage. Don't bother with the Mandarin Orchard, it's way past its prime. There are many other hotels in SG that welcome you with a smile, maintain a good environment and charge you far less.

Cons: Almost 1 hour to check in and no apologies. The bathroom door accidently locked and took 40 minutes to send someone. Also when we went for breakfast my partner was told no slippers permitted. As a lifetime platinum member of Starwood I would suggest management needs a complete overhaul of staff and learn common courtesy. All in all I would never refer anyone to this or any Mandarin property.

Cons: dual queen size beds would be ideal.

Cons: Rooms are too tiny to be comfortable. No room for luggage. Insipid showers, not enough pressure. Too far from the closest MRT.

Cons: No iron unless you ask for it, front desk staff at check out were quite curt and not very friendly,

Cons: Housekeeping could be better - the toiletries were inconsistent and not replaced day after day, and so did our robe. We did however appreciate being able to check out a tiny bit later than usual

Cons: Bed was too soft, lighting was too poor for reading and makeup, the shower was too small, the glass shower door cut my foot. Really don't like this new trend of sinks in the bedroom Bit of a hike to the MRT and shopping.
