Staff friendly and helpful, we arrived at Ibis from another accomodation, after my husband had had surgery. Our bags were stored while our room was prepared for an early check in. We would told this would probably be an hour and we could wait in the foyer, shortly after we were told our room was ready. Nearby to where we needed to be for doctor appointments I

Pleasant staff at front desk, well located for Museum station, Chinatown & Hyde Park.
Felt like it needed a renovation, a lot of grubby areas and paint chipped off walls both in foyer and rooms. I have stayed in Ibis hotels both in Australia and overseas, so I have a general idea of the standard, and this room was probably my least favourite of all of the Ibis hotels i've stayed in. The layout of the standard twin was so awkward and cramped, you couldn't fully open doors to cupboards or fridge without first moving something else out of the way. The bathroom was twice as cramped as normal Ibis bathrooms and had hardly any space to move/place items down outside shower.

The bed was very comfy.
The very limited menu options for dinner. The entree sized chicken legs was huge. Seven chicken legs for entree and $10. For a side of sweet potato. The serving was huge enough for two or three people. My suggestion reduce the serving size and reduce the price.
