9.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to one end of the city center. Nice and clean.. all good would use it again
Cons: Car park Is an issue.. not with this B&B, with all the places in Taormina. Said that the owner really tries to find you a place for your car for free.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We are 2 adults and 2 teenagers who stayed in 2 rooms of this hotel in July. The best part about this hotel is its owner Antonio! He is an extremely nice and friendly guy! He met us when we arrived and gave us a special parking pass which saved us a lot of money on parking during the 3 days that we stayed. There is no free parking for visitors in Taormina only for residents. Also Antonio recommended 2 traditional seafood restaurants and one great pizzeria, and all of them were delicious and not expensive. Antonio gave us coupons which gave us a discount in each restaurant. Its very important in Taormina as it is the most expensive city in Sicily. Our room was spacious with a balcony with a partial sea view. You could eat breakfast inside or outside on the terrace. It was a very good breakfast but remained the same for 3 days. It would be nice to have something different each day or at least change the pastries. The bathroom is small but has everything necessary. It was a nice location for us but for older people or people with disabilities it is a steep slope to walk to the center of the city. Its a short walk for us though. The bedding was not perfect but did not ruin our stay. Overall I would stay here again and I will definitely recommend it to other people because all the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location very Good, close to center of Taormina. The room very clean and the owner very kind
Cons: The wi-fi connection was quite poor
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are wonderful and so accomodating. They makr the place great. The location is very close to the key tourist areas. Incredible views. Nice breakfast
Cons: The room was nice but not luxurious. Could have had a bit nicer finishes to be truly stand out. Parking is tough but Antonio helps out. Hard to find.. make sure you pay attention to the owners welcome email
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host antonio was the greatest asset. He went beyond what we expected. The hitel was lovely. Great jlocation. We were given a spectacular breakfast. Must stress that our host, antonio , provided services to help us enjoy our stay imensely.,his hotel is a labour of love.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Antonio was very helpful and obliging. Tasty breakfast
Cons: Would have liked a TV with English speaking channels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable and the shower water was hot. The host, Antonio, was very helpful, even transporting us from and to the local railway station. A nice breakfast was included in the price.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Antonio was a super host. Without prompting he volunteered to take me to the bus station. Also, he took the time to acquaint me with the area's sites.
Cons: The pillows were not comfortable, otherwise the facilities were great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located, very close to Taormina main street. Easy to get parking space if needed. Antonio, the owner, was super nice and helpful during all our stay. He helped us to park the car, recommended great places to visit and for lunch/dinner... The breakfast was also good, including fresh fruits, croissants, pastries and salty food. Beds are very comfortable. All in all, we would repeat it!
Cons: Nothing in particular.

Pros: Excellent varied breakfast, friendly staff, great rooms, comfy beds, swish bathroom and big balconies
Cons: Nothing but a couple of improvements would be a map showing shuttle bus pick up/drop off point and locations of the steps leading into Taormina would've been useful - the narrow winding road is a bit dangerous for walking on. Tea/ coffee/bottled water would've been nice.

Pros: Lovely room which was so comfortable and gave us a fabulous view of Etna and the sea. Incredibly well maintained hotel that felt very luxurious and therefore great value. All the facilities were spot on. The staff were hugely friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Cons: The hotel is perfect I think their moto is "make feel the guest like a king " everything was perfect
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, terrific room with a small private patio, excellent facilities including good wifi and aircon, good breakfast in a superb terrace location. Friendly and helpful staff with good English. Useful assistance in organising tours and connections.
Cons: It’s a few steps up from the pedestrianised area, enough to induce shortness of breath in some people. If it were not for the patio, there would be nowhere convenient to sit at like a desk (this could have been just the layout of my room). Other than that, no complaints.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. Extremely helpful and so polite. The view from our room, Junior Suite with balcony was gorgeous. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Shower facilities great Breakfast was delightful. Great choice and superb presentation Handy having parking on site (payable) but reasonable All in all a fabulous location, beautiful boutique hotel with gorgeous gardens and terraces. The terrace bar is a great place to relax with a drink.
Cons: Door to room only stayed closed when locked and a lot of light bulbs needed replacing. However, this did not detract from our overall opinion
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was perfect, close to the main street but quiet and peaceful. It is a beautiful old building that has been furnished with antiques and an attention to detail that maintains the character of the property. Excellent facilities, beautiful breakfast and garden terraces with wonderful views. The service from the staff was exceptional - friendly and helpful whilst never being overbearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel without reservation.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Of all our hotels on this vacation, I think it's this one that my wife most wanted to extend our stay in. You look out of your balcony window (or put your breakfast out on the table and have it out there, which we also did every day), and it's this beautifully shaded Mediterranean, right in front of you. You walk out to the restaurant, and all you hear is some peaceful music, and the even more peaceful ocean, quietly whispering. Keep walking a few feet, and you have a beach chair and an umbrella, and they'll bring some drinks to your chair in between your dips in the sea. The town of Taormina is an amazing place, too, when you take the cable gondola up to see it; but we were also happy to take a day in those beach chairs doing absolutely nothing. The staff were great as well. What a wonderful hotel.
Cons: Really not many complaints to make at all about this one. We were pretty lucky on this vacation!
7.5 Good
Pros: Location, view, some of the staff (front desk, dining room and bar) were very friendly, beach attendants less so. The restaurant is ok not memorable thought despite the amazing location.
Cons: Overall it feels the property is in need of an update. If you pay 1,000 Euro per day your shower should be more then 3ft by 3ft.and have some decent water pressure and the mixing valves should work so it won't take 5 minutes to get to the shower temp you like. Not so sure about the pillows either (kinda thin and flat). The concierge was very nice, but why would she send me to a clothing store (Luna Chiara) to change money, where the owner was offering .75 Euros to the dollar when I got .92 at a bank? They also were eager to have us eat at Rosmarino which was just ok. Vineria Modi and Ristorante Le Naumacchie which we had reservations for were both way better.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the view from my room . The Breakfast included in the price was very good. Also, the food and the service in the hotel's restaurant were very good.
Cons: The room was very small and so was the bathroom ( would not accommodate two people at the same time). At a cost of over 1000 euro per night I expected a better size room . The bonus for this room was meant to be the terrace . Indeed, the terrace was large with beautiful views , however the infestation of the mosquitoes and other flying insects made the terrace for the best part of the day unusable . Also, the same problem with the infestation existed at the bar area and restaurant in the afternoon and evenings . The management must take some actions to eradicate this problem - hence my low rating of this hotel .
9.2 Excellent
Pros: location was pefect
Cons: the price
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel accommodation and views were excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Breakfasts were also very good.
Cons: We had a poor bar lunch experience on our first day and the evening meals were over priced and did not reflect the quality of the food.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel and the staff
Cons: The advertisement should state that there is about 199 meters uphill climb in leaving the hotel. Very unfriendly and inconvenient for many middle aged or older people.
7.1 Good
Pros: Lovely view
Cons: Hotel is located half way down between beach and town. 1/4 of a mile distance UP to town is at 45 degree Angle with loose pebbles in spots . Equivalent to a stair master work out!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, great views, very friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great view from balconies and pool area, clean and tastefully decorated room, tasty breakfast with good choice of meals, small but very cosy and relaxing pool. Road to the hotel is quite steep indeed and narrow like many streets in Taormina, so better plan your arrival before sunset. Walk to the central street using that steep street or stairs next to it takes around 10 mins but was never a problem for me and my 4 year old son.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Walk up hill to town was a little crazy
6.7 Good
Pros: the view was amazing and the staff very obliging.
Cons: it's location was quite a hike.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Find adress is difficult and no more sign board
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It is a small hotel with excellent view of the sea below. Nice small pool, everything is nice and clean. Great breakfast.
Cons: The property is (like most of Taormina) on a very sharp incline. It is difficult for older people to go up (to the main streets in Taormina) or down to the hotel. Taxis are reluctant to drive you to the entrance of the hotel because of the narrow and steep road.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful views. Quiet. Good breakfast
Cons: Beautiful views from the hotel but VERY steep climb up to the town centre. Some transport would make it excellent all round.

Taormina’s famous shopping street, the Corso Umberto I, and the ancient Greek theatre, the Palacongressi, are just a short walk away. The hotel blends early 20th-century architecture with contemporary design in its 63 rooms. Many have terraces and balconies for views of the city and coastline, while in our presidential suites you’ll find a private Jacuzzi and living area. Family and connecting rooms are also available. Visit the hotel gym or unwind in the spa, with sauna, steam bath and treatments on offer. On the 7th floor there’s an infinity pool and bar, serving wine, cocktails and light snacks. Try a selection of local specialties and Italian cuisine at our restaurant, which has views of the city. Every morning we prepare a breakfast buffet, with fruit, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts and hot food made to order. An early-bird option is also available. Hold your meeting event in one of our 3 rooms, which can be combined to host up to 274 people. The hotel is a beautiful setting for weddings and receptions, and our event planners can help organize every detail of your day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is fantastic! Traveled with my wife and 7-year-old daughter and had a very pleasant stay. Located at just the right area of Taormina with a great view. We had a sea view with two balconies overlooking the town. The room was spacious, well designed and very very clean. Not to mention that the cleaning staff came around twice a day and were very polite. . Although it was October the weather was warm and we had a chance to enjoy the infinity pool and spa. . The breakfast had Italian traditional flavors and you could also order a variety of other dishes. When searching for hotels in Taormina most places were either too old and dark or too far away to walk. This hotel is relatively new, very clean and walking distance to the main attractions of Taormina. . Well deserved for its price.
Cons: Parking in Taormina if you have a rental is very hard. And although the hotel offers in house parking or valet it is just too expensive (20-30 Euro per day). That's sometimes the price of the rental! The nearest public parking was a 10-15min walk at 14 Euro a day. We were there in October and I had a hard time finding a spot. I can't imagine hi season.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great central location and fantastic helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything to love about this hotel. Location was perfect. We didn't eat there once as it was a hop skip and a jump from all the local bars and restaurants, so can't comment on the food. Staff were very friendly. What's not to like.
Cons: The king size bed was on locked castors that slid on the floor, so everytime you moved in the bed it created partner disturbance. Mattress was very comfy though.

Pros: Everything
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very courteous and helpful. Alessio at the front desk was very helpful and patient with our requests and gave us good suggestions. Location of the hotel is near Corso Umberto which is the pretty much the Main Street of the city so all the main attractions are walking distance
6.3 Good

Cons: I didn't get a room close to the lift. So they upgraded to a superior room and was charged extra 30€ a night. Bfast was extra 20€ each a night.restairant overpriced. And spa not open till 15.00hrs Never again

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent! Always helpful & smiling. Rooms comfortable...no kettle in the room which would be my only small negative thought. Breakfast was adequate in choice but plentiful.
Cons: No tea or coffee facilities in the room and the reception level bar opens only at 15.30 so nowhere to get a drink if you can’t get down to the pool bar due to mobility issues....180 steps down to the poolside area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a hotel! Lovely bedroom with amazing view over the sea. Short 5 minute walk to town. Great breakfast. Lovely pool. Friendly staff. Very clean. Will visit again.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed there before and choose the hotel mainly for the location, as it is easy to walk into Taormina The staff was very helpful and polite and attended swiftly to all our requests. lovely people in the dining/breakfast room and at the pool bar. We liked the pool area, even if you had to walk a lot of steps down and up.
Cons: The food at the pool bar was okay, but not amazing The scraping of the chairs on the dining/breakfast room was deafening
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, decent size room with good bathroom. Parking on site. Very good breakfast in pleasant restaurant. Good views from there and terrace. Bar service good. Large, well maintained pool with towels, loungers. 5 minute walk to town and restaurants.
Cons: Reception staff rather abrupt and unwelcoming. Not easy to find by car. Hotel rather old fashioned.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Grand Miramare is conventionally located, a short walk to the bus terminal. Staying somewhere with a lovely pool and amazing view was great, rather than staying in the middle of Taormina. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is a great starting point for excursions to Etna and Messina. Walking distance from the old town of Taormina.
Cons: The GPS position of the hotel (Google map and TomTom) took us down a wrong road. Something needs to be corrected. The Hotel parking was so full that we had difficulty finding a space for our rental car.
7.5 Good
Pros: Stunning views, lovely pool area. Very well located, right opposite the bus station, 5 mins walk from the cable car and about 10mins walk to one end of Corso Umberto. Changing facilities made available for late departure. Breakfast was good (although a bit more variety on hot dishes/eggs would have been welcome).
Cons: Dated hotel in most areas other than reception. Very dowdy room, but functional enough, although with the spectacular view, not having a balcony in all rooms is strange. Coffee at breakfast (or maybe the milk), not the best. Very quiet which I like, but also no incentive to use the restaurant or bar, lacked atmosphere in the public areas.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely and in a great location. We had a room with a view and I mean a beautiful view. We had I believe the largest balcony on the third floor with a breath taking view. The hotel was lovely and the grounds so beautiful including the pool area. The staff was great and very helpful. The hotel had parking which is one of the reasons I booked it but it exceeded my expectations. We would stay at Grand Hotel Miramare.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It’s beautiful setting and views from the bar and dining terrace. Good location.
Cons: The rooms are a bit dated

5.4 Okay
Pros: Nice view, good location
Cons: We had some issues with the room and the Wi-Fi and when we brought it up with the manager he got very aggressive almost angry, shouted us down, was shocked There wad no customer service no understanding basically made us feel like we were the problem. I also saw him berate one or two other guests that had some feedback. Basically a very, very poor experience I would not go back I would not recommend this hotel
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice small hotel feel with friendly staff. Very clean and quiet.
Cons: Beds were very firm.

Pros: Our stay at Hotel Sirius was the best in the whole of Italy. The terrace was huge and the view was exceptional. Great breakfast too!!
7.9 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The view
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was very good for the town , rooms clean Breakfast ok
Cons: The very steep hill to walk out of the hotel after walking up steep steps was a killer ! I would suggest if you’re not fit and mobile don’t stay here.
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location and a beautiful house with fantastic sea view at the terrace. Same for the breakfast room. You could literally have your breakfast in a sunbath.
Cons: Too commercialized and not cozy. You can sense the indifference of the staff because of too many tourists coming and going, maybe. Actually that’s the problem of the entire Taormina. A Sicilian version of Positano. The power was broken a couple of times during our stay.

6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful view of Mt ETNA
Cons: Beautiful hotel in inaccessible location. Never try to drive here. Lots of Euro trash in hotel
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good - but not very imaginative. More varieties of fruit would have been good … and some decent orange juice would have been nice.
Cons: The state of decoration of the room and balcony was appalling - badly in need of re-decoration. This was definitely not a 4 star hotel room. This was unfortunate because the location of the room and the balcony overlooking Etna was simply amazing - and all the hotel staff were extremely good and hard working. The property needs some investment - which should be easy given how much they charge for the rooms.
