I spoke with Sixt at Southern Cross Station early yesterday morning who said company wide Sixt had no cars available but that wasn’t true as I hired one from you @ Tullamarine

Drop off in CBD could have been better explained. We called the hotline and was read what was available online. Perhaps more descriptive / photographic instructions would have made it easier. We went round and round the carpark looking for the drop box.

The Car was great and the service and shuttle good. The Insurance excess policy from Prosura was a joke and was not accepted by Turnballs, therefore i had no excess cover in place for the duration of the hire.

Pros:

I got a confirmation a few days prior to pickup, with instructions on how to catch the shuttle once we reached MEL airport. The pickup from airport, delivery of the car, and the return was as smooth as possible. We rented a 12-seater and the car itself was very good and clean.

It was a very perfect organisation from first time. Perfect booking without precost, and a very good new car with professionell personal on side. For us, it was an exelent time with a exelent car. Enjoy the ride for more then 5000km in Australia
