It was a seamless experience! The front desk experience went smoothly and quickly, the staff was attentive and helpful. I didn’t get the Chevy Malibu as I had hoped, but the car I got was even better: the 2026 VW Jetta GLI. It drove like a dream. No issues whatsoever. It was clean and smelled good. I was happy that there was an unlimited mileage option. Bringing it back went smoothly and quickly as well. Only thing was I was told at the front desk to keep my gas receipt to show I filled it up before dropping it off and the attendant in the lot said that wasn’t necessary. The Toyota Corolla and staff service were excellent; however, the original amount quoted at the time of the rental was a total of $112 and the recent bill being charged to my account is significantly more at $129.94. The final bill with the higher amount was emailed to me rather than provided when I returned the car so I was not informed of the increase at the time and could not request an explanation. This was the worst experience I’ve had with Budget ever, at any location. 1. It was very important that I have a large SUV and they did not have the size of vehicle I requested available. 2. I was passed back and forth between an employee and a manager with little communication as to why. It was very confusing and time-consuming. 3. Although I’ve been a long time Budget customer, my information was re-input into the computer (taking even more time) . I’m also a FastPass member. 4. It sounds like there’s a disconnect between customer reservations and car availability at locations. THERE SHOULDN’T BE.Reviewed 15 May 2026

Drop off was very hectic. First time to Huoston airport. Tried to return the car quickly as I had a flight to catch . Couldn't locate budget easily. It took me 40 minutes to figure out where exactly they were. I wish if there were clear instruction of their drop off location rather than the address they provided which accommodates dozen more rental brands. However , pickup in Austin was hassle free and exceptional.Reviewed 14 May 2026
