our plane was delayed and car place closed at 11pm we arrived at 11:27. They only volunteered that we come pick up the car the next mornin! really. Luckily I had sent them a message telling them about delay before pick up time so we could cancel without penalty. We have received refund.Reviewed 23 June 2026

They refused to honor the contract you drew up. Literally said their computer was incapable of honoring it. Jacked the price up hundreds of dollars. I told them I would have to complain to the Better Business Bureau and they said okay. It's apparently a technical issue. AND they did the same thing to the 2 customers in front of me. Terrible. They rented me a car with a defective right rear tire and the vehicle did not have a spare. When I contacted Budget, they did not have another vehicle available within a reasonable distance. I had to wait until 11 pm for a tow truck to arrive to recover their vehicle and I still have not received a refund.Reviewed 23 June 2026

The Dublin Airport Budget staff would not accept the insurance that we purchased on Kayak, so we had to abandon our rental from Budget after two attempts. I also emailed them with a letter of coverage from our credit card company, asking if they would accept that, and they never replied.Reviewed 23 June 2026

Pricy for a smallish suv. Agent in San Antonio told me I wouldn’t be charged for returning the car later than expected because it was less than one day rental but my receipt showed that Budget charged me a $20 late fee. I wasn’t happy about that.Reviewed 23 June 2026
