I do not want to go over everything again as I have already provided all the information to Quee customer service. However in brief budget assigned us a car that was a piece of junk and after 15 miles would not start. We tried many times to get it started and even got help from police and firemen. We called several Budget numbers, finally getting roadside assistance, We were told we would need to wait another 4-6 hours to get the car towed. About 2-3 hours later I finally got the car started. We drove it back to the airport ( uncertain whether it would stall on the highway) and exchanged it for another car at the Avis desk. Our entire day was ruined. The car was junk with over 59,000 miles on the odometer. When we returned it to the airport and removed our bags the Budget personnel checked the car in and then went to move it ahead. They too could not get it started. It was still parked where we left it about 45 minutes later when we picked up our replacement car. We have sent all sorts of information and documentation to Quee who have submitted a claim to recover one day of rental charges. It should probably be even more as it ruined our first day in MD and put us in a serious and dangerous predicament, Shame on Budget for allowing a car with mechanical/ electrical problems to be on the road.Reviewed 8 May 2026

Rented a Dodge Hornetfir a two week Florida trip. The vehicle's electronics died on the 2nd day. We made it to our hotel in Orlando but Budget refused to come pick us up so we had no choice but to drive a vehicle with no dash instrumentation to one if their locations. Went to 2 Budget locations in Orlando that were recommended but Budget guest services & were refused a trade in. Finally had to drive to the Orlando Airport location & spent over 2 hours there getting a replacement & to top it off the 1ST replacement's rear hatch wouldn't work so we gad to go back to the desk & redo the paper work for a second time. It was quite an inconvenience when I edited additional cost and loss a whole dayof the trip due to not having a reliable car and then be told that I have to pay $115 USD if the car is not clean.
