Pros: The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was very good.
Cons: I was very disappointed to find out when I checked in that I had to pay an additional $55.00 for parking! We were only there one night! I have paid that amount for short term parking at an airport so this was ridiculous. The response from the staff, "Yeah parking is expensive in Chicago!" No kidding! First of ll I did not know about this additional fee and secondly, Hampton could ease the burden on guests by paying a portion of it. I thought I had gotten a decent rate on the room only to get slammed with an additional $55! Not happy about that. Next time we will find a better option.

Pros: The entry was a bit confusing. You enter the building, travel up to the 4th floor, where you either go right or left. One way, you are in the Hampton Inn lobby. The other, you are in the Homewood Suites. After that, everything from arrival to checkout was smooth...
Cons: ... except the toilet paper and facial tissue, which resembled (what I imagine) what they used in Eastern Europe before the fall of the Iron Curtain. Surely Hilton Worldwide could afford to spend a few more pennies on softer paper products.

Pros: Room was clean, bed was reasonably comfortable and Giant TV.
Cons: Hotel itself just seemed kind of old & in need of some refurbishing. For the price, I was expecting something a little nicer. I was stranded in Chicago overnight due to weather and had nothing with me. All the front desk could give me was a couple packets of toothpaste to brush my teeth with my finger.

Pros: The location is excellent, being so close to the hospital complex nearby. The restaurant was wonderful, and the morning breakfast room service was on time.
Cons: The toilet was poorly functioning. The TV remote "worked" but did not actually control my TV. Also many channels were just static. The final nail in the coffin was the mandatory valet, which costs $43/night. That was horrific.

Pros: Greatly disappointed. It was advertised to include parking although there was an attendant to go park your car. The hot water in the shower did not work. The room was nice and clean. It was very safe and secure

Cons: I sent another review after check-in. I would like a refund for my stay. The listing said there would be a parking lot. Instead we were charged for valet, as the hotel only had valet. If I would have know this I would not have made the reservation. The front-desk staff would not refund this fee after explaining my situation. I could not cancel the reservation either. So we were forced to pay a valet fee. Also, valet couldn't confirm that our car was secure, so we had to bring in our music equipment. I suggested to the staff that we only pay for the time we used the valet -- since there were prorated fees displayed on the valet board. 0-12 hours = $25. We were only using valet from 11 PM to 9 AM. But were told it's an automatic charge for the whole night. Very unfair, staff was not cooperative, did not give us a number for Crown Plaza customer service. Will not stay here again. Please refund my stay.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was fantastic, love the balcony. Thank you for a hotel chain finally realizing that not all people are 5 foot 8 inches tall, it was nice to be able to shower without having to squat to wash my hair, kudos for the adjustable shower heads.
Cons: Having to pay to park in the lot of the hotel i was already paying to stay in.

Pros: Cleanliness, comfortable beds, easy access to valet car with texting. Friendly staff (except Monica) great location next to walgreens and not in a bad neighborhood.
Cons: No place to park yourself (wherever I booked this online, I filtered free parking into my stay, and this hotel showed up. So I thought I was getting free parking until I arrived and received a bill for it.) provided internet did not work for any of us in our room. We called the desk to ask for a fan and someone said they’d bring one up and never did, not sure if you even have them, but maybe call back and say that? Very expensive for no breakfast or pool. Monica was rude and hung up on me when I’m the phone with her.

Cons: There was construction going on in the parking lot that you see in the picture above, therefore there was no parking on site and the noise from construction started at 7 AM. Way too loud to sleep.....and we requested a late check out so we could sleep in after a Blackhawks playoff game!!!LOL LOL LOL. Couldn't take it and left by 10:30.
