Pros: The free upgrade was appreciated and the car was new and clean.Cons: There was an enormous line at the airport to pick up the car, and only one person able to process customers. The wait was utterly ridiculous (40 min) and made me late. There was no toll transponder in the car, which was really annoying.

Pros: They treated me very bad they made me wait for 2 hours they were late then changed the book car then wanted to charge me 360 dollars not the amount that was on your application. It was bad I had a child with me and travel bags and the employee refused to use any other type of payment except my credit card which didn’t have that much money I want a compensation for my lost time lost money my agony long wait and missed work day. Unprofessional unacceptable.Cons: Hated all aspects and how they treated me really bad and made me wait two hours although I booked a day before didn’t pick us up and still told us to go get coffee while we wait. It was 45 min and extended to two hours then it was a different car and extraaaaaaaa money not the amount on ur app or even close. 360 dollars for whaaaaat???

Pros: At the time of the pick up, the Branch Manager was very easy going, helpful, and the process was fast. That is a huge plus on this management portion. The Manager did give me an option to pick between three vehicles available at that moment, huge plus. Credit Card wouldn't work, they accepted my Bank Debit Card, great deal for me.Cons: There are two things. the Vehicle I got was dirty in the inside with coffee spilled and looked like it did not get vacuumed thoroughly, finger prints all over windows and stereo. My mistake for not checking thoroughly, due to being in a rush to get to work right after that. I thought due to COVID they would have cleaned the car better. And the second one not so much on them but advise to the Customer/user, make sure to rent a vehicle which you know you will be comfortable driving-I got a Nissan Altima, which I am not used to driving smaller cars, and I am working at an Airport. Driving in the expressway felt so unsafe specially with the Chicago Wind, the wind moves the car very easily and driving in higher speed in expressway was not easy with a smaller vehicle. I called to ask if I can have it switched to a heavier car and I was told they can't, only if there was any mechanical issues with the Car-what about safety? Maybe this is for Enterprise and not this location, but if your customer doesn't feel safe due to the driving needed to be done, they should allow something like this to be an exception to the Rule. I may be wrong but this is how I feel at the moment.

Pros: Proximity to my houECons: Everything- they gave me a different car than what I reserved and I was 60 seconds into my trip before a check engine light came on and then a light telling me I had a flat tire. I did not have a flat tire but I returned the car as there was clearly issues with this vehicle and I did not feel safe.

Pros: The staff when I picked up was nice but my car was not ready when I arrived. They forgot about me when he asked me to take a seat and they would call me. 45 minutes later I went to the counter and asked what the problem was. Then they had the car. It was late so it was dark and I could not see the interior of the car very well.Cons: My car should have been ready when I arrived. I waited 45 minutes I had booked it a week earlier. The next day in the daylight, I could see that the car was not clean. The dash was full of dust and fingerprints. The exterior was not really clean like you expect.

Pros: I didn't like anything.Cons: I rented from the Dollar location at Midway airport. The Hispanic flamboyant manager on duty was extremely condescending and has a major anger management issue. Even though I PREPAID for the vehicle, I was told they were going to put a $200 hold on my credit (not debit) card. He then went on to say he couldn't override the policy (which I never asked him to) and that all rental car places do this. No they don't. I travel often to different cities all over the US. and only certain car rental places will impose a $200 or $400 (LAX) deposit. This man starts trying to over talk me so I said "I'm not going to argue with you." and left. Then when it's time for me to turn the car in, I'm standing outside waiting for the Hertz agent to close out the reservation for 15 mins while this lady intentionally skips my vehicle and then later admits it. Next thing I know here comes Mr. Flamboyant Manager charging at me and flailing his arms while he yells that I can get my receipt at the Dollar counter, once again not listening to anything I was saying or needing and actually lowered his fask mask to yell at me that he was calling airport security. Fire this loose canon and rethink your rental procedure.

Pros: Absolutely nothingCons: I waited at the counter pick up my car from the airport location in Chicago Illinois for 35 minutes not one person showed up to help me I called the helpline their 1 800 number I was hung up on 3 different times and never got anybody on the line to help. I ended up not even renting the vehicle I would not recommend this company I would not recommend this company, how do you have nobody at your airport location, At 10:30 in the morning

Cons: Pick up took over an hour. Customers were forced to be in line indoors and in close quarters which was very unsafe. Car was damaged on the outside and was not clean on the inside. There was also a slight smoky smell in the car.

Pros: I wasn't able to rent this car because it wasn't possible to talk to a human at the rental counter or at priceline to tell them we were running late, so they cancelled the reservation and left us stranded. It was just constant redirects through numerous phone systems and no opportunity to reach the location whatsoever.Cons: If I had been able to rent the car. Thank you for ruining our weekend and leaving us stranded in Chicago where all other rentals were sold out.

Pros: Car was great, Rental office great.Cons: As I was leaving the check oil and check tire light was on I ask the gentleman as I was leaving about it he said they just probably forgot to reset. It was late so I trusted and left. The next morning heading to my daughters hockey game, the car will not start. Could not detect key. I finally called Uber and continued to try to start actually got started before he got there so we drive to game. I had an hour before it started so I called Avis. The First Lady told me I could either go to wal mart to fix or drive 60 miles both ways to get a new car.... I said not an option. She put me on hold for forever I finally hung up and called back a nicer gentleman found one closer 20 minutes. I drove over they didn’t have cars available. By this time my head is about to spin off. So I drove back to game left my car running watched game and then proceeded to call again which I had to then drove to airport another 20 minutes away and get a new car. They were nice and helped me out so the service is lost somewhere in between. I will never use Avis again.

Cons: Pickup is like a pressure cooker environment. Deliberately made me wait (50 minutes wait on a weekday) and selling me lot of unnecessary services. I already bought insurance and they added insurance to bill without asking me. I still don’t know if I’d paid for gas, even though I filled gas while returning car. Very bad experience. Car isn’t of good quality either. It keeps prompting me about engine oil needing change and made me anxious if it going to stop on freeway.

Pros: Almost everything was fantastic. Customer service was timely and pleasant...there were only two of us in line, but there was no effort to put me off. Drop-off was easy and also quick. No receipt provided at drop-off, told I would receive via email. I filled the car with gas before turn-in...haven’t seen the receipt yet, but do hope I wasn’t charged for gas as that appears to be a problem for some.Cons: Getting the email receipt for the car rental facility is far from timely. When traveling for business in particular this receipt is critical for expense reports and a delay in the receipt costs money in disbursement lag, AND is frustrating. For this reason alone, I would generally rate lower, but the rest of the service and the car itself was really very good.

Cons: Pick up at ORD was very slow and they asked me to wait in the seating area as no cars I have reserved were available. I let staff know I wasn’t picky. After waiting for over half hour I realized I had been forgotten. I returned to the line and was treated quite rudely by a staff member. I noticed he was similarly very rude to another customer and family. It was extremely off putting. Traveling in a Pandemic I’d stressful and only due to emergency. Being treated disrespectfully when the agency itself was at fault was very unfortunate. The car itself was fine and served me well. The service left quite a lot to be desired.

Cons: Checking in at the rental desk was not great, even with a reservation - the staff was fairly uninterested in being there. The car was not particularly clean and had several dings and scratches that I needed to record so that they weren’t pinned on me. I hated the car (GMC Terrain) and found it’s technology and features dated. Drop off process was easy. Overall a mediocre experience.

Pros: The price was very good and the car was much better both in miles and luxury than I expected.Cons: I waited 20 minutes in line to meet with the counter agent. I was skipped over many times as they selected "Dollar" customers over "Thrifty" customers even though it's own by the same corporation. After the 20 minute wait to see the agent, I waited another 40 minutes for my car to be "sanitized" due to Covid and it was clear that all they did was wash the outside of the car. The inside still had crumbs from the last renter.

Pros: The agents were very nice so I have no issues with the staff. I have an issue with product availability, my reservation was for a Large SUV at 10 am, I was told they do not have cars so there is an hour wait, and I ended up waiting for 2 hours, got a different car and now I am having issues with over charges. The Agent at Chicago O'Hare, on 25 Jul 20 at 10 am, was really nice and he did have a nice attitude which I was surprised by since he was the only one handling both DOLLAR and THRIFTY customers. No Managers in site and or other agents in site to help out, which seems unprofessional and shows lack of preparation from the managements points of view.Cons: Once a reservation is made, have those cars ready per the reservation. I, along with many other customers waited longer than an hour to get a car. But since my car was changed I am not having issues with billing, even thou I was informed by the agent i would not be charged the amount on the original reservation. I was charged accordingly for the other vehicle, which I had no issues with.

Pros: Drop off was easy. Eddie was great and very friendly.Cons: Took over an hour to get rental. There were 4 customers in front of me. Inside desk did not immediately have someone manning it, so everyone went outside. Then we were told to go inside and it took very long just to process the renters. The customer in front of me had an issue with her reservation which took a long time, so the manager got my car ready, but it was still a very long wait.

Cons: National didn't have my SUV available nor would they rent a car to me since I was local and not a distant traveler and booked on the same day. Why did they give the option on the website that a car was available? Wasted my time on Christmas day.

Pros: The staff was happy to see and serve me. Good customer service.Cons: Even though I called ahead, there were no full-sized trucks on the lot when I arrived. They had to get one from some auxiliary lot and drive it in for me. The truck they grabbed had not been properly cleaned - filthy steering wheels and side windows so dirty that I could not see the side mirrors. National made up for this by giving me a free day of rent (refund), and a deep apology from the management. So I will try them again next time.

Cons: Way too much confusion trying to locate a car in the class I had reserved (luxury). 5 different people asked if we needed help (we did) but none delivered. After much delay, we got a car that was just cleaned and we’re on our way. Not a very good showing.

Pros: Not muchCons: Ability to speak with a person. Seems like any changes needs to be done through email. The cancellation fee is ridiculous. They charged me at least 1/3 of my full rental cost just to cancel the car even if it was cancelled three days prior to the rental date. For that price and the fact that I have to go all the way downtown just to grab the vehicle, I did a little more digging and found that GET AROUND is the superior option.

Cons: The car’s front end rattled the whole time. Alignment was off pulling to the right. Drivers door made a rattle like a can of beans the whole time we drove over 60mph. The car was dirty when we received it and had over 10 chips in the windshield. Worst rental I’ve ever had.

Pros: One lady was super helpful and nice, the rest of the staff I interacted with seemed like they hated everything. The second van I received was in excellent condition on the inside, though dented on the outside.Cons: Ended up being about 25% more than the quoted reservation cost with no explanation given. Inconvenient pickup/drop off location, at least for transit/walking. Took a very long time to pickup and drop off despite being the only customer there. First van they were going to give me was FULL of trash in the back. Second one was fine. Otherwise rude staff. put a huge hold on your card, mileage limit for IL residents - they do tell you this upfront when you’re there but it’s a bit sneaky if you’re reserving through a third party site like this. Some other stuff I can’t even think of right now cuz I’m trying to push the whole ordeal out of my head. It was pretty darn cheap though.

Cons: We thought we were getting a great deal on a car rental for two weeks. When we arrived at the business to pick up our car, we were charged over $120 more than our initial payment. The reason was (at first) that they had to come and pick us up from the airport. When we pressed into why, the next reason they gave us was because we should have reserved the car through a third party like Expedia. Which we did-through Kayak. The NEXT reason they gave us for charging us so much more was that we came through the airport. Which made zero sense because that's where I filled all the information out at the time of making the reservation. We then asked to see the manager and someone else came out to talk to us. When we asked the woman if she was the manager she said, "well, kind of, but not really, I just help the manager." We then asked again to see the manager. She went back to get him and came back to us and said the manager refused to see us and would not come out front. We then cancelled our reservation. As we were trying to find an Uber to get to another car rental location, another customer was going through the same run around and was being charged over $100 than what all her paperwork said. We call this unethical and bad business and will never recommend this company.

Pros: nothing. THis was the worst rental company ever. Do not rent from them ever.Cons: The company charged me more than the rate I booked through Kayak and refused to honor the rate. Also, they said they have a policy that limits people who rent cars from the same state as them to 350 miles per day vs. unlimited, which is what I booked in my contract. The whole "bait and switch" thing was shady and probably illegal. Also, when I got the car home and started loading stuff into it, I realized the car had never been cleaned. There were food crumbs all over the third row, with dirty napkins and drink cups. The irony is that they made me initial something saying that if I smoked or had a pet in the car, I would need to pay $199 for cleaning but they don't even clean out the cars in between customers. I had to vacuum the car myself before going on my trip.

Cons: This is an unethical company. They did not honor their written rental confirmation and left me stranded without a rental car at Midway Airport, and nearly every other car rental company was without vehicles. They provided no justification for failing to live up to their written commitment. Avoid this company!

The car that wasn't thereCons: "Reserved" online. It was not made clear that the company was offsite or that a credit card number was necessary to hold the car. Our flight arrived nearly 2 hours late. We took the shuttle to the rental counter only to realize Economy was in a different location. Called both the local number and the toll-free number and got no answer. By the time my phone calls caught up with me it was 12:30 am and the message was that they would hold the car until 10:00. So now we were stuck at Midway. Luckily we were able to rent anothe car but had to cram 6 adults with luggage into 1 car instead of 2 and had to pay a premium price. I would not use Economy again.

Pros: The employees of the company are friendly and helpful. The car was new and comfortable.Cons: The company has a hidden "mandatory" roadside assistance fee of $100. It is NOT printed on any of the paperwork, nor or is there a notification when making the reservation on Kayak. It doubled the price of my rental, but there was 0 communication upfont. I reserve thru Kayak all the time and expect they would be disappointed in the hidden costs as well.

Told me they gave out all of their cars the night before thanksgiving and they didn't have any car to give me for my reservation. Had to rent from Avis for $260.00 for 1 day when my reservation with Economy was for $70.00
