Cons: Pick up, car quality for value and comfort and drop off were great
Cons: Unfortunately the pricing was incorrect from when I booked on Kayak to when I went to pay in person. Kayak quoted me $187 and unfortunately did not include the young renter fee or taxes, making the total really out to be $282. I was unimpressed and the employee at the location also did not confirm pick up or drop off times with me.
Cons: Very long line to rent car ... only 1 clerk working and 12 people ahead of me

Pros: The car selection was nice and the car was mostly clean.
Cons: Getting into the Hebron rental place was a headache and the car could have bee cleaner. The fees could have been more transparent

Cons: Having to pay double the original amount just to drop off in a different location is absolutely ridiculous. This is a terrible system and poor management that won't work with you. Sometimes plans change and the company was unwilling to help in a time of need.

Pros: The wait to pick up the car wasn't bad, and the woman who helped us check in was pleasant. We had booked a sedan but one was not available so she gave us an upgrade to a small SUV for no charge, and then she waived the fuel charge and let us return it on empty.
The return process was super easy - took us well under 5 minutes.
Cons: I wasn't aware there was a 20% deposit charged when we picked up the car that will apparently be refunded after you bring it back. That would have been nice to know in advance, but that's not the employee's fault at this location.
The shuttle driver from the airport to the rental car place was pretty bad - he was careening around corners and our stuff was sliding all over. However the driver on the way back to the airport was just fine, so it all just depends who you get.

The car smelled really bad of cigarette and Marijuana. The check out gate was not manned, I had to step out and go look for someone. Was told that he'll be there when he can

Pros: The pick-up took way too long (I waited in line approximately 45-50 minutes) there were only 5 customers ahead of me but the 2 desk agents had to call the car wash crew on the hand held radio to bring a car up for each and every customer because no cars were clean/washed nor parked in the lot.
Cons: They stated that there were no clean cars due to shift change or something like that. Why let an entire crew go home at the same time when cars need to be washed and ready? Stagger the shifts so that someone leaves at 3pm and someone leaves at 4pm etc. not everyone just stop and go home.

Cons: It sure did cost a lot for 4 hrs of use. Budget, and all the rental agencies should institute a modified plan for less than a day rental.
Pros: I was very tired by the time I got to the car rental, and there was a small line in front of me. However, the absolutely wonderful service I received from the employee who helped me made all the difference. She was friendly, professional and everything you want in an employee. It was late, cold and snowing she even kindly cleaned off the snow from the car. I can’t remember her name! But she is originally from South Africa and needs to be recognized. She changed my mood completely.

Cons: Was quoted one rate for insurance and thought I selected it. Then priceline wanted to sell insurance so called and was told by Hertz specialist to wait and get insurance at the time of pickup. Was quoted over $100 for insurance which was completely different than the $7 a day I selected online. Will not use Hertz ever again. Never had this issue with Enterprise.

Pros: Nothing. There was absolutely nothing I liked about this company or my experience.
Cons: I booked this rental one week ahead of the day I needed it.
I called ahead to be sure that I had every document that I needed and the method of payment would be accepted.
I was told that I would be able to use my bank card and it could be run as credit (because it has the master card logo on it); just bring my social security card with me as a second form of identification.
I have five credit cards in my name and making enough of a payment on one of them to be able to use it for the rental was well within means. However, I didn't think I needed to do that because I was told that I could use my bank card.
I showed up to get my rental on the day I was supposed to. I was to leave town the next day at 5 a.m.
I was told that, no, I could not use that card and, since I didn't pay my credit card bill enough to cover the cost of the rental, I had no car to use and no one could do anything for me at all.
To be clear, I did not have a flight. I was renting the car local to use to go out of town for three days. I did mention this to the person that I called because I have never rented from near an airport before. They told me on the phone that everything would be absolutely fine. I asked twice, are you sure? I was told yes both times.
Since it was noon and I needed the car the next day at 5 a.m., it was impossible for me to go to a different company to find a rental. Everyone needs a 24 hour notice.
On top of all of it, I drove 35 minutes one way (this took about an hour and fifteen minutes out of my day) and the lady I spoke with when I went to pick up the car was extremely rude.
I could not be more disappointed.

Cons: The salesman asked if I wanted to upgrade to a Charger for $18 extra a day so I said no. Then he’s looking over my shoulder as he’s filling out my paperwork and says wow they’re really fixing you up today and I turn around to see a very nice Cadillac sedan pull up. So I was like- for real? Is this an upgrade for free for some reason? He then stated no- just an option. This was very deceptive in my opinion. He was nice but I felt disrespected as though he thought I was stupid. I work for high end businesses in the financial district in San Francisco. I know a bad salesman when I see them. He was nice but pretty sly.

Pros: While getting the car was easy, it was a shared desk with Dollar I think, the app available to get information was terrible. There was also a managerial issue because the cars were not properly tracked. The key was missing for one that was turned in and another key was in the wrong place.
Cons: That issue with a non useable app is a deal breaker for me. I can’t understand why a company would put so little time into something that can streamline the process and save them sooo much money and time.

Pros: Correct class of car was ready when i arrived. Car was clean.
Cons: Short staffed. Only one person for 3 rental car companies. Nobody was there for drop off even though it was during the day and i had to put the keys in a lock box. There wasn’t anyone to return the car to.

Cons: Short staffed. Only one person for 3 rental car companies. Nobody was there for drop off even though it was during the day and i had to put the keys in a lock box. There wasn’t anyone to return the car to.

Pros: Pick up and drop off was ok. Staff was friendly.
Cons: The car upholstery was filthy. When we ran the heater, it smelt like farm animals. When I am paying for an intermediate car, I would have thought it would have been bigger. The car should not be in a rental capacity any more. I will definitely know where my money goes in a rental car and company from now on.

Cons: The car had significant damage (Red car with dents and yellow paint transfer) when picked up. Advised service rep and asked her to view damage. She told me to fill out a form and said she wasn't going to view the damage. I was the only person at the lot picking up a car and the vehicle was maybe 50 feet from the door. Asked if damage had been previously reported. She didn't know? Gave her the form and took numerous photos. Also noticed while I had car that the left side doors didn't close properly, like the car had been in an accident. Not viewing the damage is unacceptable!

Cons: The "Standard" size car we reserved and were offered turned out to be a compact Chevy Cruz. Our bags wouldn't even fit in the trunk.
We were forced to pay an upgrade fee to get a vehicle that was not a compact car.
At the time of rental, we were told the cost would be $225. When we returned the car, on time - they tried to charge us $298. After a 15 minute ordeal, they reduced the price to $240.
Not using Dollar Rental again.

Cons: The pick up process was ridiculous. It took 30 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. Then once there it took another 30 minutes waiting in line to get the paperwork. Even with a parking lot full of cars we had to wait yet again for them to drive a car up from the recent drop off area.

Pros: Very friendly sales associate that assured me that the woman in Des Moines Iowa was in the wrong for adding those insurance options and over charging us without permission.
Cons: Older gentleman checking gas clearly can not see bc I filled the car up with gas before return and he said I did not.

Cons: Was charged much more than the estimate at drop off. Car felt unstable on the road. Attendants in Savannah were not helpful when I inquired as to why I was charged more.
