Picked up our car at the Enterprise location next to Croake Park, while not ideally located for the tourist hotels it was only a short taxi ride away. Staff were wonderful, they called the night before to confirm the rental and were very helpful with recommendations and places to visit.

The pick-up was super quick but actually too quck where the attendant didn't walk us around the vehicle to show us noted damage or vehicle features, especially when the cars operate on the opposite side from North America. It wasn't that they were busy, seemed like he wanted to get back to the boys for a smoke. The car was clean and we had no issues. Dropoff was quick and easily accessible

The vehicle was not 100% clean inside but otherwise everything was okay. The vehicle was diesel and worked well on the treacherous irish roads.

Pros:

Nothing. They have a scam by which they let you sit in the car before they force extra insurance charges on you. If you don't accept you can't rent the car.

Cons:

Could not be worse. Scam artists. Avoid at all costs

When picked up the car, no one fully explained the added costs for added insurance. We were presented with a total amount and asked to sigh. It. Small car was ideal given narrow roads and fuel costs.

When I got there they said the insurance I paid for didn't cover it and I had to pay an additional $1000. Criminals.

Avis cancelled our car without proposing a different one. We had to scramble to find what we wanted and had to pay a little more but we found a car with Sixt. I would go with them again instead of Avis.

Pros:

We were able to pick car off at location in Dublin and return it to the Dublin airport.

Cons:

When we booked car we were quoted $132 for the week. When we picked the car up we were told we had to take $500 in insurance. They told us you could deny it, but if you did they would place a hold on credit card for total cost of car

I had a great experience at Europcar Dublin. They served me very quickly, all of them were knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help me with any request and query that I had. The car was clean and we'll maintained. Really happy with the rent.

Georgi was great at check in. The car upgrade to an H-CR was much appreciated and the car itself was great. Checking back in was a pain as we had to queue with the people hiring. A drop box for keys would have been most welcome.
