There wasn't alot to like. Once we arrived at the Hertz counter we were told that we would have to pay an additional 50 euros a day for insurance which ended up costing almost as much as the vehicle. I couldn't remember after being awake for 24 hours if I had purchased third party insurance and the guy behind the counter was interested in helping find out. I fact, he made sure to advise us that they would require and $5,000 dollar hold if we did have third party insurance. Once we got fleeced at the check out counter we made our way down to the vehicle where the attendant drove the car up, parked it and threw me the keys. Zero explanation on how the vehicle operated, seats stowed or any of the controls worked. Very unsatisfied with the whole experience.Reviewed 8 July 2025

Car wasn’t as clean as I would have thought they should be for new users The guy who checked us in and the guy who received us after were great! We decided to add a driver after we left and we called Hertz to add a driver and we were told we had to find a nearby Hertz and travel to it. The person on the call told us we could t add someone over a call. When we interrupted our vacation time and walked to a nearby Hertz, the guy said, “You could’ve just did this over the phone.” So, this guy knew his business. I wish people on the phone would be trained correctly because that cost us part of our short three days in Ireland.Reviewed 5 June 2024
