Pros:
The staff was friendly, fast, and thorough. The rep walked around the car with me to check for pre-existing damage. My car was clean amd comfortable.Cons:
I rented from an off-airport location due to the low amount of vehicles available in the city. Although Enterprise will "come pick you up", they cannot do that if you're at the airport. So I had to add a $35 Uber ride to the total. The rental was WAY overpriced for a Nissan Altima ($96/day), but they did not have to add a slew of additional fees like the airport places. But the staff were a good group of people. None of that stuff was in their control. I also dropped the car off before they opened. It was weird just leaving the car there, and putting keys in a drop box. I am used to airport locations with 24-hour presence. I never got a phone call or email letting me know they received the vehicle back. I only dropped it off about an hour before they opened, I'm sure it was fine.2.0 Poor

When i booked the reservation i typed in AUS for Austin airport the first item that popped up was offsite. did not realize it was off site until the day off and on site was out of cars. ended up paying a lot more. Kayak automatically booked my reservation when i was just trying to see the total cost5.6 Fair

My car was not ready and it was the wrong type, then they upgraded to a truck, but the truck was extremely dented and dirty. Finally they got me into a Ford Fusion, but it needed to be cleaned as well.9.6 Wonderful

The staff at both ends was great. Friendly, pleasant, very helpful. We had a bit of a problem locating Enterprise at the Dallas Love Airport because we hadn't driven far enough for car rental return.Cons:

When they checking they demanded for my passport since i do not have a US driving license, If this is a mandatory requirement, mention it somewhere ! while checking out, they said they would send me the invoice. i have not got it yet.Hertz

Pros:
I was told hours before my trip that the large SUV that I had rented was not available. I was given a mini van and that was my only option. I even called their customer service and the woman on the phone spoke to me like I was trying to get something for free. IF I WANTED TO DRIVE AROUND IN A MINI VAN, I WOULD HAVE RENTED A MINI VAN. The Hertz front desk seemed rude and uninvolved in the customerexperience. This ruined my trip before it even started. I will never rent from Hertz again.Cons:

Cons:
I booked and got a confirmation number, what car I was getting (or something similar if they were out), a time for pick up, etc. When I get there they say they have no cars for me. Why allow me to book and say they'll have a car for me when they didn't. I stopped searching for a car because I was told I would have one. If they simple didn't allow me to book or told me there was no available, I would have help looking. It's a poor system and the people helping me just told me a script when it was their fault for booking me.2.0 Poor

Easy and quick pick-up and drop-off process. Woman at the desk was very helpful. Not located far from downtown Austin and much less expensive than renting from AUS. RecommendCons:
- Confusing to navigate to the location. The address is for the entire shopping mall so it's hard to find the first time. - Not much car selection but the cars there are decent.6.8 Okay

Pretty good price to pick up in one city and drop off in another. The agent who I picked the car up from was friendly and accommodating when I came back to tell him the gas tank was not full.Cons:

I ended up with a nice car that suited my needs for the trip. There was some damage to the car but it was documented. Drop off at the airport was much easier than I expected and the agent there knew what he was doing. I also found snack crumbs in the driver's side door when I got in but it was otherwise clean and comfy.Cons:
They didn't have the car I reserved at the location, and all that was left was a smaller car that wouldn't fit my needs. After discussing, the representative told me he could give me one other car, a nicer SUV, because someone had a reservation for it but hadn't shown up at their time. It was a bit more than what I ordered (and I already thought the prices were pretty ridiculous) but I needed a car! And it was not as much as it would be to order this SUV from the beginning. I sure hope I didn't put someone else without a car but was told it was sort of "first come first serve" at this location. That doesn't make much sense with reserving a car but stuck between a rock and a hard place, I went for it and it worked for me.9.6 Wonderful

Pros:
The van was very roomy and had lots more storage for bags than it indicated on the website. We drove to Colorado with six passengers and it was ideal... a seventh passenger would have been a tight fit! The van got great gas mileage (above 25 mpg). And there were no issues with pick up or drop off.Cons:
Budget asks that you sign an extra driver onto the rental for an additional $65. This is, in my estimation, a completely predatory charge. Since we were covered by our own insurance, which covered any additional drivers, we did not have to give them any money for an extra driver. When we called and asked about this the agent told us that it was needed because in the event that we were pulled over, the car would be impounded by the police if the driver was not on the budget policy. This was not true! FAKE NEWS! In fact, we got pulled over and the driver was not on the policy and the police officer only asked to see the policy and the drivers license of the person who rented the car. Don't get scammed by Budget. If you have your own insurance then don't pay for an extra driver.5.6 Fair

Once I figured out how to turn the car on/off, I enjoyed driving it and there were no problems.Cons:
No cars were available when I arrived, despite having made reservations and specified my arrival time. I had to wait approximately 45 minutes. The car was clean on the inside, but pretty grimy on the outside. I don't think it was washed very thoroughly. There was no one on site to explain to me how to work the car - it had a keyless ignition, which I had never seen before. My cousin explained to me how to turn it on, but I had to drive around the garage looking for someone to explain to me how to turn it off!Avalon Transportation Service
