I was very disappointed with the customer service I received at this car rental location. The desk attendant was rude and unprofessional from the moment we arrived. When handing over the rental keys, he practically threw them onto the counter rather than providing them courteously. Throughout the transaction, the employee repeatedly made groaning and irritated noises, making us feel like we were inconveniencing him. He also applied excessive pressure to purchase the additional insurance coverage. Even after we clearly declined, they continued with comments such as, “This is your last chance to get it,” “Are you really not going to get it?” and “Did you even read over it?” The most inappropriate comment was, “Don’t come back crying if something happens to the car. It’s going to cost you even more.” This felt more like a scare tactic than customer service. I understand employees are required to offer optional products, but there is a difference between informing customers and pressuring them. The entire interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope management addresses these issues and provides additional customer service training. When we finally picked up the car it was so dirty from the outside. Bugs everywhere. We couldn’t even see clearly out the windows. The mirrors were dirty as well. We could have gone and said something but we did not want to deal with the desk attendant again and there was no one at the car lot to be seen so we could have mentioned something. Quick and easy to rent. No one did a walk around inspection of the car. It was parked in a garage with poor lighting, so you couldn't see any scratches or minor damage. When dropping off the car. No one checked for damage.Reviewed 30 May 2026

When I landed the rental counter was already closed, and their neighboring counter, Hertz, who owns them, would not help. There was a sign just to come back in the morning. I took an Uber to my hotel, then came back in the morning to pick up the car. However, the counter agent was incredibly rude and said that everyone will have to wait since no cars were available. I called the national customer service number, and after waiting on hold to talk with someone, I was told that only the local counter agent could help me, and that there was nothing the representative on the phone could do. After waiting for over an hour, she realized she could borrow a car from Hertz, which I then received. I would avoid Dollar and choose a different company in the future.Reviewed 27 May 2026

I rented a SUV for pickup the same morning of rental. When i arrived for my pickup the Dollar rep wasn’t pleased i went through kayak and told me there was a 4 hr wait time after rental was booked. She said I shouldn’t use kayak. She said I wasn’t going to get a suv and i could go wait and come back. This delayed my travel. I kept staying near the counter and was staying nice to the agent. It was not busy and she finally motioned for me to return to counter. she said i can give you a kia but your not getting an suv and the price will not come down so what do you want to do? I had no option but to take the kia car and make do. I am very unhappy w the service of the dollar rep and the vehicle i was forced to take. Reserved car online for the next day only to have Dollar call me a few hours later to cancel the reservation. I was told that the Dollar website allows many more reservations than actual cars available. The employee claimed that they have complained to management about this issue but nothing is ever done to resolve it. I would not recommend Dollar - stick with a more professional company that will honor their reservations.Reviewed 24 May 2026
