Upon arriving at the counter to pick up the type of vehicle I had reserved through Kayak - a Ford Transit Van - I was informed that that wasn’t an option. Instead, I was offered a Kia Carnival van.

I reserved in advance, then showed up and after waiting in line for too long was met with a number of taxes and fees that more than doubled my cost. I was offered the chance to pay to upgrade to a different vehicle (at a good rate!) then when I said no thank you I was told my preferred vehicle was actually not available but they could upgrade me for free to one of the same vehicles I had just declined paying to upgrade to, which seemed deceptive. I will not use Dollar to rent a car again. Duplicitous, deceptive pricing, didn’t have my reserved car.

Car was dirty. Numerous scratches on hood, window shield chipped. I brought these up with lot attendant and was told to take pics in the sunlight.
