Car was quite damaged and beaten up, and I was charged for damage they couldn't definitely prove that I caused. They charged me more than the entire rental period for simply being about 3 hours late. And they refused to refund me for accidentally booking the vehicle for 1 week later and then rebooking. Customer service was abysmal

I could not find them at the airport. Their listing said they were in the airport but there was no kiosk and they did not answer the phone they listed on the confirmation. After searching for 45 minutes I gave up and rented from Locacar at the airport. I am requesting a full refund and trust that Kayak will facilitate it.

Bordering on bait and switch, playing a two man game behind the counter came up with a bunch of untrue reasons I had to have extra insurance to more than triple the quoted price at booking. I left and got a car elsewhere. Complete hassle, not worth your time.

Impossible to find & they didn’t have my vehicle. Wasted hours of my vacation on the front end trying to find them & then had to rent another vehicle from a different company. Don’t bother with Green motion.

My vehicle rental experience was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about both the condition of the vehicles and the customer service I received. When I initially received the vehicle, the tire pressure warning light came on and would not go off. I personally filled the tires, and I also had someone at a garage check and fill them, but the warning continued. The air conditioning was also not functioning properly. I returned the vehicle because I did not feel it was safe to continue driving it. When I brought the vehicle back, I was told that the tire pressure warning was “nothing” and simply a computer issue. I explained that I did not feel safe driving the vehicle and requested another vehicle. In addition, the mirror control pad had fallen through into the armrest, which further demonstrated to me that the vehicle had not been properly inspected or maintained before being provided to me. Given these issues, I am very concerned about the apparent lack of proper vehicle inspections before rentals are handed over to customers. The situation became even more concerning when I was subsequently charged almost CAD $1,000 for alleged fender and paint damage. I did not cause this damage. The roads and infrastructure in Greece include potholes, gravel, and other difficult road conditions, and I do not believe I should be held responsible for pre-existing or road-related damage that I did not cause. I requested to see the photographs documenting the vehicle’s condition before I received it so that I could understand and verify the basis for this charge. I was told by Vasso that I did not have the authority to see those photographs. I find this response unacceptable, particularly when I am being charged a substantial amount for damage that I dispute. I am formally contesting these charges and request that the alleged damage be investigated thoroughly. I also request copies of the photographs and documentation showing the vehicle’s condition immediately before my rental, as well as the evidence used to determine that I was responsible for the damage. Overall, this was not a positive experience. The initial communication at the airport was extremely difficult due to the lack of effective English communication and poor confirmation of the meeting point, resulting in a delay of more than an hour. The customer service was lacking, the rental facility had overflowing garbage, and the vehicles appeared poorly maintained and insufficiently inspected. I booked this rental through Kayak with the expectation of receiving a safe, properly maintained vehicle and professional customer service. Instead, I experienced significant delays, vehicle safety and maintenance concerns, and a disputed charge of nearly CAD $1,000. I expect Kayak and the rental company to take this complaint seriously and review the charges and supporting documentation.

We missed our connecting flight to Lefkada due to a weather delay in Dublin. We let Green Motion know that we’d be arriving 12hrs later than our original pick up time. They said that they couldn’t hold our car for us because the system would register it as a “no show” even though we’d called (twice) well in advance to inform them of our flight change due to weather. Green Motion ended up charging us an additional $700 CND which was a 70% increase in cost as the original quote was approx $1000 CND. I would never rent with Green Motion in the future due to their policy to not hold our booking past the original pick up time due to a weather delayed flight despite giving them notice in advance by phone.
