Reserved a luxury vehicle and was given a jeep. The counter agent was not pleasant at all. Overall was not pleased which is unfortunate because I've had good luck in the past with Route.

First, I needed justify my request to have a snow brush, before I received one. Then I needed to clean the inside of the windshield, because sticky debris on it impacted my vision. (Both issues are recurring with this company) When I returned the car, a filled up gas tank suddenly showed it was only 90% full. I drove around in a unfamiliar area trying to top up the tank, only to find out the tank was full, but the gas gage did not reflect this. I went through this twice until I realized it wasn't user error, but something wrong with the fuel gage. This also put me over the 200 km daily limit. I explained all this and showed them my gas receipts. I was told not to worry, and encouraged to write a positive review on Google, which I did. Once I was at home, I received a bill for extra km and service fees! Dealing with this company is aggravating and really only worth during times of significant discounts.

The staff was amazing and helpful. The only complaint that I had was that the floor mat in our car kept moving around due to a broken hook, but I let the agent know and they were going to fix it. Stellar company!

I waited for over an hour upon arrival, I was directly lied to by the employees to try and persuade me to purchase the toll pass and insurance. Upon finally receiving the car it was full of cockroaches. There was no communication about anything. Worst experience with renting a car ever!

The only had very large Jeeps in their fleet. There were no other models available. I was traveling with older folks that could not get in and out of the vehicle, terrible on gas. They would not downgrade to a smaller vehicle. Rental was essentially useless for my purposes. Many additional fees at pickup.

Horrible outfit. Bait and switch. The end cost was more than the national rental places. I ubered back to the airport and went with Enterprise. Same happened to four others that I saw. Avoid this place.
