Pros: The price was good and the car was clean
Cons: The drop off location that was listed on our rental agreement was permanently closed and we had to drive to a different location, which was very frustrating.

Pros: Staff was friendly. For drop off they came right out to the car shortly after I parked. Whole process was simple.
Cons: Every company tries to pressure you to buy the extra insurance. I didn’t like that they pointed out I was liable for the entire price of the car and then wrote down the price as if to emphasize the point.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, pick and drop off was convenient. One thing to note - all of the service for dollar was provided by Hertz, may be they are affiliated in Europe.
Cons: Insurance coverage was too expensive. We didn't purchase it, but could have if it was reasonable.

Pros: Staff was excellent. Pick up was efficient and easy
Cons: The location I returned at ,Calle Proncesa, Madrid, is very hard to find, and the cars actually live in a parking garage down the )busy, city center) street. The drop off address in the contract is the office, not the garage, which caused major troubles for me.

Worst car rental ever
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: 1. They would not rent the car to us even though we had a valid drivers license, passport and credit card. 2. Did not have said car available. 3. Pretencious and unhelpful staff.

Process Was a Nightmare
Pros: The car was clean.
Cons: The pickup process was absolutely terrible. There was a price discrepancy that made the transaction 3 times more than our reservation. I called customer service and they were woefully unhelpful. Their solution was to "speak to a manager." The car was not what I requested. The "add insurance" link on the website seemed to be broken.

Pros: Car was ready to go when I got there with my reservation. No extra pressure To buy additional insurance after I purchased plan through Allianz on kayak.
Cons: Confusing and hard to find the pickup location. Dollar is only represented by a 12”x12” sign on the hertz booth. The pickup is just outside of the Santa justa station. Even local info desks were confused on its location.

Poor signage, great personnel
Pros: The gal that signed us back was fun to talk with as she did her work. Very friendly.
Cons: The parking lot wasn't labeled well so I just parked and walked where it was convenient.

Pain free rental!
Pros: Car was bigger and more comfortable than expected. The whole process ran smoothly. When we had a small problem the help line was answered immediately and a mechanic rang us to sort out our issue (nothing wrong with the car - just something we didn't understand)
Cons: The boot lock is a bit strange because you have to walk away from the car with the key before it locks and it took a while for us to work that out!
