This was so horrible. I was never informed by Kayak that there was a $400 credit card security deposit. I wasn't able to rent the car because I wanted to use a debit card and they needed specific documentation to verify an address. However, my driver's license had a different address since I had moved recently so I wasn't able to rent the car. I would've been more prepared had I known about all this beforehand which Kayak nor Enterprise told me about. I should've booked a ZipCar or done an Uber Rental. I did not get the economy car I reserved. Instead, I was given a bigger vehicle that was unsuitable for England's narrow roads. The gas tank was almost empty when I picked up the vehicle. I brought it back with the tank half full but was not reimbursed. Enterprise refused to pick me up at my hotel so I could pick up the car. I had to hire a taxi to bring me to Enterprise.Reviewed 26 Aug 2026

Scheduled pick up time was 9 AM, didn’t leave the lot until 10 AM, when I arrived at the front counter, no one was there for 30 minutes, to the point where another customer had to go past the front desk, walk to the back office area to find a staff member for assistance.Reviewed 25 Aug 2026
